those are cool. My disc drive finally ate a Disc. ACIV got stuck and would not come out. Sony is sending me the box so I can send it in for repairs. Free of charge of course. Hopefully it won't take too long.

Thanks for the advice, I think it's a widespread problem, I goggled and found a lot of talk from PS4 owners who noticed both Killzone and Tomb Raider caused their machines to get really noisy after an hour or so of playing. Very odd.

Sony is notorious for their bad soldering lately. This was one small issue in their new super slim ps3s as well. Probably one major reason why they closed down their PC department, poorly constructed.

How's the fan sound on the PS4 now? Still loud? I noticed mine sounded like a helicopter taking off when I powered it on yesterday. I'm hoping it was an isolated incident since the machine probably has less than 20 total hours of use on it so far. I'll try it again tonight and see if it is still there.

Mine was fine last night. It's done it twice now. Always with Tomb Raider.

I got them off this ebay seller. If the design you want isn't avaliable then you can ask him to make a custom one for you which I did for the Burton sign.

I just visited local game store and got some a bit mixed news. Now since many of you actually have ps4, I could just ask this from here; does it have any sort of always online thing or not? Meaning that if I just want to play single player games like I have done before with my xbox360 and other consoles, it is possible with ps4. So that there are no limits to this, other than some downloadable content etc. that obviously needs connetion and possibly Sony gold membership or whatever that is called.

You are covered bro. Other than the initial patch (that can be downloaded on your pc and then transferred to your ps4 via USB) this thing can run w/o Internet for all you single player/BD/DVD watching needs.

Blacklight and Warframe (both free to play) are fun diversions. Also I hear DCU Online is good if you haven't played it before.

Cool. I borrowed my brothers over Christmas and got hooked on resogun and finished AC4. I was considering DCUO as I played it a ton back when it first came out before the PSN outage. Might be a fun diversion for the next couple of months.

Awesome! Enjoy it. I recently replayed through the PS4 versions of Flower and Sound Shapes...also relatively cheap but great fun if you've never played them.

Sound Shapes really shines over the Vita/PS3 versions with upgraded graphics, sound, and the pulsing light bar.

Flower is short but...relaxing?

Some games are getting ported over though.
