The launch edition of the PS4 on Amazon is sold out. I wasn't necessarily planning on getting the launch edition, but it looks like that is what I preordered.

Your fandom amazes me. There is no prof is subpar , specs can mean ****, apple has proved that for years . And seeing how none of the other stuff effects me again how is it subpar for me? I am sorry your to poor and have to buy used games or trade them in, or that you live in some shirty place where Internet sucks.

Indeed they are..but you seem to think that anyone who isn't a Sony fanboy must be one of "them". I'm a real gamer. I play everything. Though, I will probably be passing on the One which is a big disappointment.

I'm in the PS4 camp. I am going to preorder mine Friday when I get paid. I want Watch Dogs and MGS 5. I figure those will be enough to tide me over. Have to support the console that is supporting gamers.

You can pre-order now, and you'll be charged when your PS4 is ready to be shipped in January. There isn't a retailer who will require you to pay full price for your system before they have it in stock.

Got my preorder for the ps4 at eb games today their is unfortunately way too much unnecessary crap to deal with the Xbox one. I can't think of a single thing the Xbox one has as a useful advantage over the ps4 at this time.BTW only 2 more until we can finally play the last of us!!

It went quick, and from what I've been reading, a lot of people who pre-ordered the moment it went up didn't get it, so no one knows when the launch version was actually put up.

I didn't even know that I pre-ordered that version, but I somehow got it.
