I appreciate all the valid input! The more I'm thinking about it the more I'm leaning toward the alien 3 maquette and the alien/predator cinemaquettes. I LOVE my hot toys preds but I still feel like i have to explain to girls when they come over why I have toys (awesome ones at that) but with the statues there is no explanation needed. I've been looking at pics and they look quite impressive. I just like the idea of being able to have all the predators. I'm def keeping robo and Ed but I think I'm going to let the others go. All are open but displayed in a case and i have all boxes and accessories mint. Hopefully I wont loose too much $ on them.

I don't know what HT Preds you have, but if they're older ones, you aren't going to lose any $ on them.

I prefer 1/6 myself, but you get what YOU want and like. Either way you're a winner!

Some I got good deals on others not as much. Unless any of you guys want them (I would be happy if they went to a good home), I'm gonna try to move them on Ebay for as much as I can get. What is reasonable pricing for them? Thanks again.

Just look around at the eBay prices and base yours off that. Easy enough to do. I was out of 1/6 for a bit, but go back into it. But I do love the statues more than 1/6. But there are just way to many cool things out there not to have a mix. So hard to pick!!!!

But yeah, the Cine Pred is on my next list. I'll sell and drop stuff to pick him up!!

Hey fellow collectors,

So I'm fairly new to the collecting scene but I've put together a rather nice hot toys collection so far. I just pre-ordered the HT alien 3 and lost predator. My initial intent was to just get all of the preds but then I got a robocop and ed209, the batman stuff, and some aliens. Last night I made the mistake of finding the Sideshow 1:4 alien 3 maquette. Say what you will about the film but I enjoyed it and that is my favorite incarnation of the alien. Whit that said, I just canceled my ht alien 3 and am thinking of selling off all of my preds and aliens to get that and maybe eventually pic up the cinemaquette Alien and Predator. What are your thoughts? I'm very torn and any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Definitely go with the maquette, and the high end stuff. I sold all my Preds and am currently doing the same thing.

i would rather just pimp myself out if i were going 2 go that route. i want everything now, so parting with these wont b 2 bad cause the $ will go towards something better.....i will still have my reg scar and special ancient
