Hey guyz,SORRY if I'm asking a real stupid question but did they release DX10,Nick Fury,THOR?I thought these figures weren't coming out until late summer early fall?If they aren't out yet then why is this guy basing this petition on early proto work?How many times has Hot Toys released PICS. from some figure that they are working on and it looks like S#!T?Then the final production piece is knocked out of the park,GRAND SLAM STYLE!IMO the only piece that i could honestly say they dropped the ball on is Indy but that is just my opinion.It's still an AWESOME figure but compared to others it just doesn't hold its own.As for PERS,is this based on just Indy?Cause no other figure has had its likeness suffer cause of movable eyes,IMO.In fact,i think it helped out the DX Joker a lot!I thought it made an OK sculpt look INCREDIBLE but then again it's just my opinion so to each its own.Hot Toys does listen but being that the company has gotten so big in such a short time that they can't cater to everyones whim.Send your petition but don't think that Howard or Jin are going to read it,They have people who have people to take care of that and for that reason we all get that automated response.GOOD LUCK though with this cause if that THor is the final then i guess Indy won't be alone for long!^_^

If SSC doesn't do anything in response to 1000000000 posts on a message board dedicated to their products, pretty sure HT won't do anything based on an email generated from a board that is dedicated to their rival's product.

Are you aware that stating that you have all this figures in a forum like this could be a invitation to be kidnapped, murdered, with all your limbs splatered in different states, your head buried in some distant farm and then someome just assuming your life and all your figures?

LMAO Don't worry, I live in a medieval castle hidden deep in a forest, with 10 foot thick walls and an underground steel bunker where the dungeon used to be. Oh and due to a little gamma ray accident in the tower laboratory I tend to turn big and green a lot. That's why I collect figures.....I don't get out much these days...........

I agree with salvador, the original poster of this thread. I like collecting ht figures but lately, due to popular demand, the prices increase yet the quality declines. I think if ht expects us to pay more, than the quality should be consistant. I wanted to collect the avengers, but when i gazes upon nick fury's mellon head i was doubting that choice. I think ht need to revalidate their qualitycontrol department. Ht indiana jones was a total miss. Yes its overall quality is good. Yet when you look beyond the ht logo, it's not that good. To summin it up, at the price ht is charging for a mass product, cause these are not exclusives anymore, i expect every figure to be a hit likeness. The price of ht has almost doubled and still rising. I like ht, but quality should be consistan. When noncollectors come to my house and see all my figures, they immediatly pick out the flawed figures, cause they don't have any commitment to ht. I used defend the figures saying they are the best figures out there with brst likeness but is that good enough? I don't think so. I want 100% likeness for these prices. We all know ht can pull it off. Nowadays ht also has flaws. My indy was crosseyed. They painted the pers system wrong. My friend had the same with the mj dx. I don't mind paying exta. Just make it right.

Likenesses aren't going to be 100% all the time. They're sculpting these things from scratch, not from scans or whatever it is, and they're working on deadlines where a customiser can pretty much take as long as it takes. So I don't think you can assume that just because you pay a certain amount of money for the figure that the headsculpt is going to be a perfect replica of an actors head. Having said all that, I'm still going to point out if a likeness is off and how I'd like it improved if its at all possible. Thats allowed on a discussion forum.

Are you talking about this forum as a rival to Hot Toys? This forum is just as much about Hot Toys as it is Sideshow - probably more so judging by the number of threads. I don't think SSC or HT would consider the other a "rival."

As for the PERS - I think it's invaluable in figures like 89 Batman. I would agree that on some figures it's not as effective. But I'd like to see them continue to innovate and try new things, including improving this feature.

There should be a HT sub-section in each current section IMO. The DC section might then actually be a DC section.
