Seems like nobody here is noticing she has a slightly googly eyes there, people in SF are complaining about that
Thank God I'm not the only one - as I read the initial reactions I wondered why all the praise. The prototype was looking
straight ahead with a focused stare. She had character.
This one has a vacant, lifeless stare. And that is largely due to the eyes position. Yes, while not nearly as bad as other ill-fated statues, her eyes are definitely looking in slightly different directions. Her right eye (the one on our left) should be more centered. Her stare is spot-on
from every angle on the SDCC pics. Not so here. Those of you who think some of us just like to complain (*sigh*), zoom in and step away from your display.
Or, you can just cycle through pics on a pic browser using the one I altered below.
This still isn't ideal, but at least she's looking in just one direction there.
If you still can't see anything wrong... well... I guess you don't have to worry. You wouldn't know googly eyes if you saw Cookie monster.
Also, surprised no one mentioned the crude eyeshadow application. Gone is the subtle application from the prototype. Not that different from the Rogue PF in that respect, and while the googly eyes is what's most remembered about that one, that make-up caused an outcry too back in the day.
Now, I know production pieces are never going to be as detailed as the prototype, but I'm still disappointed her whole
expression changed. AND I'm worried about googly eyes. That's the one they have on display, so I shudder to think what some of us will get.
Dunno if I ever brought it up but does anyone else not like the exposed stomach? Its my only issue with it. It just seems like overly forced fanservice and it makes the rest of her outfit not really make much sense.
I absolutely agree.
