Wow when did dc fight mk? That's really cool. :dunno

It was a crossover that happened some years back. The MK crew is making the DC fighting game Injustice these days and I wouldn't be surprised if another cross over ends up happening in the future because of that. MK and DC actually work pretty well together. I hope they eventually try to get a modern MK comic going under DC or maybe even within its continuity. Now that would be interesting.

They have something with dc but with mortal kombat, never played it though

I wish Capcom made a Marvel vs. DC fighting game.

I prefer my fighting games with actual content and decent game play so I'd rather Capcom stuck to doing a whole lot of nothing, which seems to be their general policy over the last decade.

I'm very excited for this game, and I hope it's MUCH better than MK vs. DC was.

Leagues better. MK9 was such a step up from past MK games that it felt like there must have been eight games in between it and the eighth game. Injustice runs on a similar engine but with a lot of cool new features and ideas. It's going to be wonderful, much better than MK vs DC.

If u have watched the latest videos that SS has upload on their site, one of them cant remember exactly which one, states that , after they receive the production pieces from China, they put it next to the prototype and c if it's of the same standarts. Dont know if they are actually doing it for all the production pieces though

They must not because of all the problems we've seen lately :monkey1

I wish Capcom made a Marvel vs. DC fighting game.

Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono said this,

“I’ve had a couple of dream projects in my head for a while, one being Street Fighter X Tekken, which is actually coming true. Another would be a Marvel vs DC game which would be pretty damned cool if we could ever pull it off. I’m a big comic-book fan,” said Ono.

“Now if I can get the presidents of those two companies in the same room shaking hands, then we could get something started. I’d love to see that just as a fan!”

They tried... but nothing bore fruit. Looks like it won't happen :ohbfrank: Too bad.

that would be tragic. Capcom creates far superior fighting games then Netherrealm Studios.

Yeah maybe over a decade ago, but no way in hell these days. Capcom has become a lousy company at all fronts. I think NRS would be able to make a far more pleasing M vs DC game, but it doesn't matter because this is the Poison Ivy thread and these games have nothing to do with her.

Ya right. The last Mortal Kombat had far more value than SF4 and especially MVC3 which was very low on content. The online hub and king of the hill stuff in MK was awesome.

Agreed. SF bores the hell out of me anymore, and while I was super excited for MvC3, I got bored with it really easily.

I know MvC2 is cheesy and unbalanced, but that game was just insane and had a ton of replay value. Also imo the look and artwork is way better than MvC3. I just can't get into that game for some reason, but MvC2 I played forever and it's still fun without the cheap characters.

These are the 3 games I played nonstop, they are addictive. :lol

Fight Night Champion (still play online)
Marvel vs Capcom 2
Super Smash Bros Melee

Marvel vs DC in MvC2 style would be incredible!

MvC3 is too stupid feeling and the X-Factor mechanic was awful. I'm also not a fan of circus juggling all day. Damage output, combo length, X-Factor, etc... it's all bad and ridiculous. It really doesn't add up to make a good fighting game. The roster is fairly good though and the graphics and voices are cool as is the music. Everything else? Nope.

Capcom just can't make good fighting games. They are still a decade behind compared to most of the other major fighters, which are far more in depth and well made.
