Its not that its that they dont want my business its just that they do as little as they can to keep customers informed... delays or changes it their product and never notify you... and having a statement that items and ship dates may change is the least they can do but going the extra step and giving some idea what is happening shows that they care
With every thing they say, more people are going to call them on it and it will be used as fodder for yet another nutty conspiracy theory. One reason companies do not say more than they do, is because of crap like what has went on in this thread. I have never seen more infighting and wailing over a piece that is not even in customer's hands yet!
A while back we passed the point of people going so far as to make up stuff to argue and create panics about. If I were SSC I would pull the piece from production, just over the sheer amount of trolling going on about it. Luckily SSC is not as hot-tempered as I am.
I contacted SS and they were kind enough to respond. I was advised that PI is delayed to ensure full QC on every piece.
"Thank you for your message. Product delays can happen for various reasons. First and foremost we want all of our pieces to be the absolute best they can be. We do not want to send anything out premature and as items are all created by hand, this process can run over our original estimates."
I recommended an email be sent advising of revised ETAs. They are generally good at responding to inquiries.

what you say devil? Companies don't tell us the truth! They lie to us and keep us in the dark about things sir! Everyone knows that is the bestest business model! How dare you.
Am I doing it rite?
Guys,
A smidge of bad news (for me at least) means I might not have the cash available to fund my EX Ms Ivy
Is there a way to guarantee she will go to a fellow boardie should I have to cancel or is just luck of the draw.
Thinking if I do need to cancel I'll just look for a reg after she's released, don't really want to have to cancel but the funds that I have set aside for her might have to be used elsewhere between now & release day
