Okay Tommy, I know you had aspirations of going to Yale, but daddy needs his polystone fix, so off to community college you go.
Hmmm go to start making them work and learn how to survive and work for their own things. I had to do the same myself. Worked long hard hours every summer to pay my own school bills and rent etc.
Nope, I have had one goal since I became a father... To save enough money to pay for my boys education. If that means no statues that means no statues, and that is just the way it is.

The WL has been open since BEFORE I started this hobby back in August... There are most likely hundreds of people on the WL right now... And CBG is PROBABLY ON CRACK!!!! CBG ALWAYS says a that EVERYONE'S WL will convert.
Wife or Statue?
That's exactly what I was going to reply.Honestly my wife hates my statues but big deal, she doesn't watch anime either. The reason she gives me grief is because of the money spent on them more than the statue themselves....though she particularly doesn't like Jessica.
To those who said 'grow a pair' that's pretty much it. I have my hobby and that's that but if I had to choose between the 2 I'd choose the wife....
How many can say that?

I would get out of the hobby in the second if I HAD to choose... Because lets face it... No matter HOW much CBG AND VS wish it could... Polystone can't keep you warm at night....

I always chuckle about the wife comments; it's like that in our household except switch the genders.
My boyfriend doesn't really read comics and isn't a huge fan of my statue collecting; granted, he buys expensive vinyl instead so it kind of evens out. He does like to poke fun at me whenever I get a scantly-clad lady in the mail though.

A little off topic...any of you guys ever get a contact us for the shipping in the Estimated Item Arrival Notice? I Just got one for the Sagat ex, hopefully it doesn't mean the end of the fixed $25 shipping rate to Canada.
I got one of those for Ivy. But, that's probably because I live in Hawaii. I haven't emailed them back to ask for a shipping quote though. It's usually around $50 for me. Sad to say but, I'm used to high shipping costs.

I wonder why they can't just quote an amount in the notice, unless its going to be significantly more than what we are used to paying and they want to break the news gently.

Oh I forgot to mention that they did send me a second email stating that they fixed that incorrect shipping estimate. But, it still say's "contact us for shipping".

You know, I'm pretty sure my live-in girlfriend will not like Ivy. Hell, she hated Darkchilde, who isn't wearing much clothing but A) isn't fully human and B) is sort of decked out as a warrior. That said, this is my hobby and it represents some of my autonomy. If there was a NEED financially to give up the hobby, I would. But for ideological or taste issues, I will be who I am no matter what. I'm not saying I'd dump my girl before I dump the hobby, but if ever comes to that point, it's probably an indication of other problems.
