Bruce would've won that. He could hit Ali repeatedly before Ali would land a punch, and Ali being a boxer wouldn't be able to defend against kicks.

Would be an interesting poll, though. I would imagine Ali's mass and training might help him shrug off some of those blows. I could see how a lot of people could go either way. Thus, it would make a very good matchup.

I'm not sure myself. Both men were incredibly fit, pound-for-pound incredibly strong and incredibly quick.

Bruce was a good all-round fighter, Ali had mass. Bruce had an array of kicks, but Ali's footwork was awesome and he'd have the better reach. If Lee were able to edge out Ali I think it'd be his grappling more than his kicks that'd separate them.
