Poll: Silver Surfer Ex or Black Panther Ex using Reward Points?

I was ready to pull the trigger on the SS, but free shipping disqualifies it for reward point usage.

That really sucks though and I do agree you should call customer service

I have a bunch of points too but im saving them for something big and expensive.

BP would be my choice, surfers seems bug me and when I saw him at my LCS I was reminded of those olympic ribbon dancers.

After seeing the paint chips on Sebastian's Black Panther piece and hearing about the lightness/hollowness of the piece, and after reading buffygirl's complaint and some others about the attachment of the head and the weak magnet, I don't think I want to get the Black Panther PF anymore.

And I just called about trying to get the Surfer using RP AND free shipping, no dice.

So now I'm just thinking about getting the black cat PF instead.

I know, I know, I should be able to make up my own mind, but I have some rewards points burning a hole in SS's pocket and considering using them on one of these two. What would you do?

I would wait a 1/4 scale Doom, Thor, or Cap comiquette, or a Dr. Strange PF.

Or, a DC license.

Sucks to hear about Surfer, Mesa. Though I said you should save your points if you were any bit unsure, Surfer is a very awesome, and very customizable for a commiquette. Can't understand how it's still in stock.

well worth the points imo. but can't go wrong with the SS either

Surfer is a better character but the BP is one of the best sculpted PF ever made. His pose reminds me Batman. I just don't like the sculpted of Surfer.

Yeah, he's Mavel's answer to Batman,but with a better costume.

My thinking is that if he really wanted those pieces, he likely would have purchased them already. My other thinking is that there is an extremely high likelihood of something coming out which he would want even more than the BP or SS. But hey, it's his cash. Speaking for myself, I'd hang on to it and wait.

I agree with KBA. If you don't really care about the characters enough to be able to make a decision, then you might want to save your points for a piece you know you want. If you are asking me which piece I like better, it's the Surfer by a hair. Both pieces look good.
