He is definitely 'whiter' in the DVD than the Blu-ray. I'm wondering if they dinked with the color like they did in Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc...

So, I saw Barbarian in the theater tonight and loved it. My buddy, who'd never seen it before but who is a big Arnold fan, didn't seem to get it and said that while he's glad he watched it, he can't see watching it again.

After the movie I invoked Crom before decapitating my buddy and chucking his head down the stairs.

Your response was the correct course of action.

I really can't decide .... totally stuck.

They actually nailed the windswept hair which has really surprised me. It looks amazing.
And the pose is really the perfect sculpt of Arnie's physique and of Conan. I've always wanted that beach scene in that pose.

But there is no denying the war paint and blood covered look is an extremely imposing look.

I also think display location might need to be taken into account here. My custom display shelves are white, against a white wall. The skin color will probably stand out a lot more than the white war paint look.

Same here. It's weird. I'll be passing either way, but it's a tough call. I like the blood on the war paint version.

These both came out amazing. I give a slight nod to the beach version even though I love the war paint scene and look better. The pose of this piece was ripped right from the beach scene and fits this piece best IMO. The pose for me personally gives a variant feel to the war paint statue. However, that doesn't mean the war paint version isn't totally bad ass. It is, but for the reason I listed, I give a the REG version the edge here.

I hope we see PCS do a new 1/4 war paint Conan in a new pose. If they do, I'd be all over that. As it stands, room is way too tight for me to order a 1/3 Conan. That said, these both look phenomenal. Congrats to all of you that secure one. This is going to look absolutely amazing in your collections.

PCS will make a 1/4 a year from now in a different pose if these sell well.
