Pop Culture Shock - Zangief PF

I noticed on the first picture the Mech Zangief has red hair and a blue belt but on the second picture it doesn't. I sort of like the look on the first picture. Which version do some of you like?

FedEX, SS went back to them? Did Akuma ship yet?

I received an e-mail from SS this morning saying that they will start processing the payments staring Friday. The e-mail reads:

Akuma bust could ship as early as Fri., but we wont receive it until sometime next week. This will allow me time to buy and build a new case for Zangief and the Akuma busts. Good Street Fighter month though.

Thanks for the info. I guess there was a slight delay, but nonetheless I made sure the funds are available for Zangief. Thanks again. $374+ all at once for this guy is A LOT of money$$$$ when you think about it. Using Flex Pay makes it sting a little less for me. I have the Shin Akuma bust and the reg Akuma bust ordered and they're processing this week/weekend too. I guess Sideshow gets their money one way or another. No dinero=no repair'o .

Yeah, no prob. I'm going to have SS switch my order over to flexpay so I'll have to wait another 3 months for this........but I really think it will be worth the wait. This is the third time I've said this, but I think this statue is going to have jaw-dropping presence in person.

Unfortunately, I had to give up the busts, but I'm fine with just sticking to the PF's. So it's all good.

I'm lucky to get the Mecha Zangief since it's so rare. Not that I'm going to sell it but it could surpass Akuma I think.

It's pretty accurate for the most part. I read some had complaints over at the statue forum too. So many "real" SF fans in there it's sick /sarcasim.

I dunno why Jerry painted his nails. So where are the regular pics? The 'real' zangief.

Well upon initial inspection, the statue is heavy and the paints look very good. The hands come separate, along with the heads of course. The base is freakin' heavy too. Looks to be a stellar piece.

Looking forward to having this guy in hand. Last time I saw this piece was at Comic Con 09. This guy really cost a pretty penny though. $125+125+172.80(Lucky CA resident)= $422.80 . Buncha goddamn pimps.
