Is their shipping really steap? How long is this sale for? I see at least 2 or 4 figures, I'd like to get that aren't as available anymore. Maybe I'll get a Tony Stark and an Gamorra.

Shipping wasn't steep for me. Almost $9 for expedited shipping for 2 DCC statues though I will say usually with Hastings, expedited only makes it a day or two faster.
Also I would imagine it takes into account if there is a Hastings someone near you. The closest one for me is about 2hrs away.

Oh ok thanks Gipetto, I spoke to one of their reps today and she couldnt tell me why it didnt work lol.... I guess the way they worded it "50% off action figures" is misleading. Should say Buy 1 get 1 50% off.

Haha no worries man :1-1:

Not sure, but they seem to be going out of business soon. No longer taking gift cards and such in a couple days.

My orders all shipped, my Vader should be here tomorrow. Hopefully they all sent the correct items- have had issues with that before from them.

I really wish they had the Hot Toys Leia on the list there, but I don't see her. Vader, Luke and Sandtrooper all tempting though.

Got the two 1/6 figures that I ordered with the code today, no problems. Still waiting on a box of smaller scale stuff to arrive tomorrow.

So how much did you end up getting both of you figure for with shipping. I added Loki and Wolverine into my cart and with shipping and taxes applied I really dont get that much of a savings.
This is what I get for Loki and Wolverine

Merchandise: $342.49
Shipping: $23.59
Estimated Sales Tax: $30.20
Estimated Total: $396.28

So pretty much $400 for 2 1/6 scale figure so you figure $200 a piece. Thats just about the same price you can get it with sideshow using a $20 coupon if those figures were still available.

My Hastings is conveniently "remodeling", getting rid of tons of stuff, not accepting gift cards, canceling game rental programs, and various things like this. "Remodeling" seems like a very low key way for corporate to tell them "your store is on the cutting block".

Yeah ours closed for a day last week. I'm just waiting for them to liquidate. Comics section is already bare. They are no doubt goibg to close. We would have heard about a sale by now.

They are told to say they arent closing. It's a business technique. They want people to keep coming in. Mine hasn't gotten a new movie to rent in weeks.

The Hastings where I am still has plenty of comics and new figures, but they have stopped movie rentals in the last couple of days and stopped refunds and exchanges.
I hope they can hang in there and find a buyer. I believe today was the deadline (after an extension) for them to get one.
There are a bunch of hearings in August. Hopefully Hastings will come through although likely a leaner version (i.e. removing the SP Images and Moviestop parts of the business).
