Popcultcha - UK Import Tax?

Hey,

Popcultcha currently have 20% off all in-stock Hot Toys.

For those in the UK who have ordered from there, did you get charged import tax by the courier? Similar to when ordering from Sideshow.

Ive ordered alot from Popcultcha and I'm from UK. I try to keep it under £135 (that's the import goods limit for uk gov) and don't get hit with any fees. Its funny though there has been times I been over that amount and not get hit with any fees too..

"I ordered a Statue which came to £141.02, used a $50 discount which brought it down to £115.17

The shipping was £28.95, my grand total came to £144.12.

Didnt have to pay any custom fee. Now I could've gotten lucky but to be safe I would try to get the whole purchase including postage under £135 if possible."

I ordered my HTs Kenobi Vader and Red Blue final suit Spider-man from them, both over £200 and I did unfortunately get hit with fees. Now even with fees and especially with the discount, it still may be cheaper than other places such as eBay.

They will mark the correct value as far as I am aware, so expect import tax for any orders over £135 (including shipping cost)
