Prop Possible EFX AT-ST ROTJ, TIE Bomber & Probe Droid studio scale

It's all about reputation - they trashed whatever goodwill they built up during the Master Replicas days. And what products have they actually released in the last four years, not counting the plastic helmets? I'm not sure if they're even a business when they can survive that long without selling anything. In the hopes that they turn things around, I'll treat them like a new unknown company that have yet to prove themselves, and deliver its first product successfully.

So, how's that Anovos doing? Have they delivered any of their helmets? Thoughts?

I actually preordered that, so I know all about how bad they've been. I was just hoping that the scout trooper helmet would be the only one they have problems with releasing in a decent timeframe.

I remember a couple of delays as I waited for my X-Wing.

The TIE Fighter went through significant delays.

Then they showed off a Y-Wing and Star Destroyer model at a con, never to be seen again. (doubt we ever see these)

Then they showed a video (I think) of them pouring the mold from the original Fett helmet, never to be seen again until this SDCC.

Shortly after that they threw the Scout helmet up for PO, people are still waiting on this.

Somewhere in between all this, they showed the small scale Falcon. Even if SS is distributing, I question eFX's ability to deliver the actual product.

(Obviously this is out of order and I don't know the exact times, but where talking over the course of several years)

They have their own cheerleaders, who will defend this company with their own lives. Some even believe that by defending them EFX will offer them who knows what. The only persons at true advantage here are the EFX employees and their friends, who have access to perfect unaltered casts of various helmets for their own personal collections, which will never be available to large public...

I thought the same thing. I was actually surprised sideshow has started carrying their products. I actually chatted with them online and asked if they are aware of their reputation and they said that they had never had any issues with them. So I asked if we order EFX through Sideshow and they do not deliver and keep delaying can we get our money back? The representative. I talked to said absolutely. I t got me thinking that If I did see something I like from EFX again on sideshow I might order it.

Like most of you I made the mistake of ordering directly from EFX a few times before I realized not to do that. My first was a Darth Vader helmet which I received. The second is the Die Cast Millennium Falcon. Not sure if or when I will see that. I have the Scout ordered through Big Bad Toys and for some reason I lucked out and they didn't take the normal $200 deposit. Maybe they are starting to see the writing on the wall about EFX too.

& I firmly believe we're going to 5 years. I'm seriously going to try & get back to ComicCon next year, so I can personally ask them "what the hell man!?"

I would love to see that. It would make me so happy. I think they have over $1,000 from me for products I ordered that I just keep hoping I will see some day. Not much else I can do.

Thanks Rusty.. it was really not that hard to built! The fibres were a bit a thing but if you are just a bit crafty give it a go and build it! Finemolds are just great kits that get together so nicely.

Im sure Bandai's are even better
