Happy their releasing "smoking Jacket" Invisible man. I just could not get myself to pay $59.99 Can for the previous release.

It’s looking like they’re taking a page out of Dracula’s book and releasing that black and white Nosferatu with the cloak and witchy hat, which make it a unique version from the color one and also double as useable because of the color. I liked Carfax Abby doubling as a color version with a quick head swap.

It's being done because collectors have OCD. ;)

So, apparently NECA is shipping Lee Dracula if you ordered directly from their website. Brick and mortar by Halloween. Mine will be here tomorrow.

EDIT: It's being shipped by Rubie's Costume Company, lol. The ports must still be a disaster!

So, apparently NECA has been paying attention to customer feedback. The Horror of Dracula arrived today, and it was packaged well, protected, and the box was great! No bent hanger tags, no crushing, no damage. Yay! i will leave this one in the box, and buy one to open from my local place when they get them in with Vincent Price next month.

Picked up Christopher Lee's Dracula on sale, absolutely fantastic figure! All three heads look so good, it's hard to pick just one to use. I'm looking forward to adding Cushing's Van Helsing, I hope Reed's werewolf will be next.

If we get any more besides Horror of Dracula, I will be happily surprised. It's literally taken them nearly 5 years since time of announcement for just these two, and Van Helsing still isn't in hand. A Reed Werewolf would be a welcome next addition though.

I think the reason we got as many Universal Monsters as quickly as we did had to do with Universal's time limitation on their licenses. If you listen to Blaine on the youtube videos, he says "if we are allowed to continue, we hope to make some secondary characters from the films we've done'.

What I took from that was, there are specific films in the offering packages now. Which, if true,is a danr shame. I would've loved a Glenn Strange Frankenstein, Werewolf of London, Kharis Mummy, Dracula's Daughter, etc.

I have a friend or two "in the know" as far as licensing goes, and there is definitely a time limitation before expiration or renewal. Universal ain't cheap. Hammer is a little more forgiving.

What's the youtube channel I can watch these interviews?
There's still a few I'd like to see from Universal; Henry Hull Werewolf, Dr. Pretorius, Ygor, Karloff from Son of Frankenstein, Glenn Strange's Monster, Metaluna Mutant, Mole People, the Hunchback, and of course, Dr. Frankenstein (yeah, wishful thinking). Neca is making a Ben Cooper kid Metaluna Mutant, so at least that one is possible. I wasn't a fan of Dracula's Daughter, but if they make one, I'll buy it. That said, I'd rather have Gina from the Brides of Dracula.
Neca is always dragging their feet and pumping out cloth figures instead of Ultimates (I need an Elvira already!). I hope they get a few of those Univ. figures out before their line comes to an end.
I was thinking, what about Abbot and Costello, I wonder if they're possible under Universal?

Ooh, I forgot, the Brendan Fraser Mummy movies are Universal! I'd love to get a Rick O'Connell, Evelyn, and a couple different versions of Imhotep!

The lighting doesn't do much for the likeness. Thankfully, the pictures of the raw head show it more.
