Possible Hathaway CATWOMAN movie??

Well if Hathaway doesn't have the chops as some have suggested...
"who" would you cast as Catwoman if you could sign any actress?

Someone with the physical attributes to be believable in the role, an actress who you can watch on screen and believe she could not only do all the rope-climbing necessary, but take a beating if necessary. Hathaway and her ET-esque physique doesn't sell that part. I'd probably sign Jessica Biel. Beckinsale would've been a great choice if she were younger.

It's all about the physicality of the role, especially in a universe that's trying to be "realistic." Hathaway didn't even make sense really from a T&A perspective considering she has a flat ass and flapjacks.

I'm sorry, but Anne Hathaway's character from Princess Diaries is forever burned into my brain.

When I think of AH, that's all I see. I mean she's not a terrible actress, and I did like in Brokeback, and Prada, but everything else "to me" is meh. I'm not an AH hater, I just not a big fan. I HAVE NOT seen TDKR (*runs to hide*) so I can't say if she was good or not, I'm just going from the mixed reviews from people here, there, and some movie sites. I think she will be good, but I too am not sure she's good enough to warrant a spin off. I think WB is trying to capitalize on everything DK. She might be good with JGL first...then maybe a movie of her own...? I'm going to see it maybe this weekend with my sis, so I'll either come back to applaud her performance or moan with disapproval.

She did fine in Haywire, but she also didn't have very much to do other than look good while saying a few words, and then ultimately kicking some ass. Of course this is a Catwoman movie, not The Departed.

After seeing her in this film I'd be down for seeing a solo movie. She was superb in this film and she looked AMAZING the whole time.

I'd go see a Catwoman movie with Hathaway.

Gina Carano could definitely pull off the physical demands, but I doubt she can carry the rest of the movie with her acting abilities. She did fine in Haywire, but she also didn't have very much to do other than look good while saying a few words, and then ultimately kicking some ass. Of course this is a Catwoman movie, not The Departed.

I don't think she's quite seasoned enough to pull off a DC staple like that yet. She was spot-on in the action sequences in Haywire, but still seemed a bit uncomfortable with the dialog.

As much as I'd like to see this, Anne stated she wouldn't do this unless Christopher Nolan was attached.

Anne is the #1 Catwoman for me, and if someone else were to jump on this bandwagon it'd be an obvious money grab (if that'd even be possible).

I don't think he would necessarily need to be Batman, because Batman died based on what everyone could see. They would know this new guy was just taking on someone else's identity. At that point, it really doesn't matter if you are "Batman" or "Nightwing" or. . ."NIGHTHAWK!"

If the Batsignal shows in the sky and Nightwing responds, it will show that Bruce's whole concept of becoming something more than a man, a "symbol" failed because he can be killed/defeated.

If this was to happen it should be a prequel and not a sequel. She shall forever remain with Bruce from now on with her clean slate.
