Just finished seeing Edge of Tomorrow, thanks to all that recommended it, one of Tom's best, really good stuff. Loved it, next up is Oblivion.

Head sculpt doesn't look as good as the initial teases for some reason and the tailoring seems a little loose but I'll be picking up at least one. Maybe two for Harper 49 and 52. (I can't remember where the numbers appeared, were they on his jacket?) Really liked the movie. I'm going to watch Edge of Tomorrow or Live, Die, Repeat or whatever it's called tonight. Maybe they will make those figures as well.

Might have to hit up Evilface for some number patches.

Broken probe would be nice, also just saw this movie, what was up with the "monsters he was fighting in the start of the film?" more robots? made by the survivors?

Its 49, 52 had yellow on the shoulder pads, also 49 had blue, and kicked more ass than 52, 52 was a wimp that picked up the spoils at the end

As simple as the design looks, it's actually incredibly complex!
Randy Cooper has made one in 1/20 scale.

I think the big problem with the likeness is the head is undersized. Makes the already slightly baggy clothing look huge on him and throws the look all off.

Also the paint apps on the gun are a bit sloppy which kills the crisp and clean "Apple product" appearance from the film.

I totally agree with all that. Lets hope those forums in Hong Kong say the same and Play Toys (lame name) can implement some of those tweaks.

If they don't, then I am still super excited for this figure. Much like the 'Heavy Armored Cop' I find myself mega excited for figures based on stuff I never thought we would get figures of. I was more excited for that then The Terminator...much to my surprise.

If the quality is anything like the 'Armored cop', we are in for some treats.

Agreed these new unlicenced figures and these new company, are some of the best things this year, price alone makes it better too. Play Toys did that Bride from Kill Bill the sculpt was ok, the outfit was good but it had rooted hair which made it look like a barbie.

I personally don't mind rooted hair on female figures when its' done right like Black Widow or Baby Doll.

Very nice figure from an excellent movie.
Is Cruise our generation's Heston?

Somehow Cruise's latest movies keep reminding me of Heston's string of Sci-Fi flicks in the late 60's early 70's.
