I don't want a trailer... Am I weird? I think this would be a GREAT movie to experiment with NOT having a trailer and see what fevered anticipation does to movie-goers Seriously though, if a trailer IS released I'm going to try my hardest not to watch it (but I have horrible willpower, so we'll see how long THAT lasts )

A trailer will be released but I understand where you are coming from. Most of the time trailers are great until you see the movie and realize they spoiled most of it.

I actually prefer to not see the trailers ahead of time myself -- fortunately on these "action" movies they don't give away too much plot.

The trailer/footage they showed at the SDCC presentation was really incredible. It didn't give too much away but gave you a few glimpses of the characters, locales and situations to whet your appetite. (It did spoil a good slapping joke, and anybody who actually thinks Jack Sparrow is dead and isn't coming back would have been officially spoiled.)

I am completely excited to see part three.
