Just returned from the theater and I must say I loved this movie, it was what I wanted and more. Really satisfying end to the saga. Not disappointing like Spidey 3 was, just a rip roaring ride from start to finish. I loved everything about it, and as always Jack was the highlight of the film.
Still, they did a good job of fleshing out the other characters...really made them all interesting and gave them a ton to do.

I just got back as well, and I really did enjoy it... I think the only thing (which I'll address more in the new spoiler thread) was the story did get a bit confusing from time to time.
But all around great stuff... and glad I suffered through the credits

STELLAR conclusion. I haven't felt that way leaving a movie in quite a long time. It's beautifully acted and really fun. It's amazing they could keep it fresh and different but still give you everything you want.
I doubt very much any other summer movies will make me feel that good. (Serenity 2 isn't planed anytime soon
) I had a smile on my face through 90% of this movie. excellent

So many critics panned this movie to the point I almost didn't want to see it. They called it boring, confusing, complicating with all the back stabbing, and no direction. Granted the Davy Jones Locker scene with Jack Sparrow dragged on a little too long and would have been enjoyed more with something, but c'mon that was a fantastic movie!

From what I've read from critics reviews, a lot of them can be thrown away just because the critic is stupid and ignorant (and I'm not just saying that because I don't like critics, but because it's true). One critic was confused as to why they were moving from one side of the ship to the other to make it capsize---I mean, how many times are they supposed to say, "Hey, we aren't getting anywhere this way, how do we get home." and show the map where it says "Up is Down" and an upside down ship?
Critics these days are really just stupid and ignorant. Go see the movie if you haven't already, you'll enjoy it.
And Trevor, if you ever have to make a Davy Jones sculpt, I'd be glad to buy one, Kit Fisto is still my favorite 1/6th figure so far.

Yea I agree with that on some of these critics.......

Hehe, Calypso was one of the---OMG I can't believe they just did that! parts, the other was that pirate lord who spoke at the end of the meeting--you know what I mean.
