Lets see. We buy Oil from OPEC for, oh lets go with 140$ a barrel. Those same countries buy US grain for 7$ a bushel.

I am pretty sure Grain is more important than Oil. Maybe we should charge 100$ a bushel, and see if OPEC changes its tune. I mean lets give honest hard working farmers a chance to get rich for once.

My friend's husband is a team leader at UPS and he told me that if diesel gets above $5 there union is going to strike, so that could very much effect our collecting habits.

here's some sad facts. your gas from the pump contains 10% ethanol. also read the fine print on the gas pump, pointing out that the gas calculated in the counter is inaccurate depending on the temperature. put that into the equation and we are getting around 15% less gas than we think we just bought.
