cool figure for sure but honestly, that likeness is no good. every bale head has gotten worse. original suit batman was awesome, TDK suit worse, still good, this head, not even close

It's so frustrating coming to this board.

I have no faith in McG and I'm not that big a fan of the Terminator franchise anyway. The teaser picture of Connor didn't really do anything for me either - looked like just another soldier dude.

But seeing the full pictures I was blown away - a great Bale sculpt, and a pretty cool costume. Even if the movie is disappointing I'd still want this figure.

Then I come here and incomprehensibly people are dissing the head sculpt? I I can't see how anyone who has even the remotest idea of what Bale looks like can say this doesn't look like him.

i think it looks like him. not exactly. something still just a tad off . but to say it looks nothing like him? bit far. i think we were just all hoping it would be perfect! maybe next time lol and that outfit is killer man. totally getting this

Yeah, there's something a bit off about the sculpt, but it's the most accurate from the 1/6 companies I've seen yet. I've already pre-ordered it, and I'm excited for it, but it doesn't mean I won't critique it.

It's just that in certain angles he looks less and less like Bale. I just can't put my finger on it.

I'll probably order this. Its an awesome altogether figure and I can see Bale in the sculpt.
No where near as impressive imo as the Dutch sculpt but still a decent sculpt.
Hot toys have the problem that there work is usually always amazing so even if something is brillaint but theres one flaw its mentioned alot because the rest is so good.
As mentioned the price is a little steep though !.

It looks perfect in some to me but in others I can only see him a little.
I'm not moaning though since I'm buying either way since I want a figure of him.
I can just simply understand what people mean when there saying they don't think it looks like him in certain shots.

I'm the exact opposite: OC Batman Bruce Wayne headsculpt to me was WAY off. TDK Batman, Better.. and now this imho is the best of the bunch (including custom heads as well).

Agreed, looks incredible.

Maybe people are confused by the desaturation of the film, like Saving Private Ryan, making everything sort of bright?
