Predalien Concept Maquette From AVP-R

The Concept Predalien looks alot better than the Onscreen Predalien

I agree there. Maybe though , with the majoroty of people watching probably not massive fans of the series they figured they should make it look like both creatures in different ways just to point out the fact that it is a hybrid of the two together.
Some people watching these movies are just too retarded to realise whats gong on sometimes.

The designs for the aliens and predalien in avp-r could have been executed better. I felt they concentracted on wolf alot more than the aliens and predalien.

Its what happens when 2 fanboys love one more then the other. I love them both, and if I ever did an AvP story/movie, everything would be balanced...however, my view on balanced is, 5 Preds vs 15 Aliens. With some humans. So you get some Alien death by Humans, some by Preds, and you also get Aliens killing a good portion of the Preds.

My opinion anyway.

yep... I agree , they need to give this to a director who actually cares about what ALL of the fans think. Just because one guy thinks predator should kill everything and everyone doesn't mean everyone does.

I don't think this is going to be as big as the original SS Predalien maquette actually.

The pics, other than the Sideshow preview pic, are of Jordu Schell's actual maquette he created for the AvP:R film.
And he states that it's a 1:6 maquette. So, if SS uses Jordu's as a base, then this should be about 1:6.

If you notice, those are paper towels behind the sculpt.

Have no interest in this piece at all. Just seems like such a waste
when there are so many other things they could have made from this line
that collectors actually want.
