My lcs just got mine yesterday!!! I go to inspect, as well as make another payment today. I'm going to inspect it while its in the box though. Because I do not want to go through all the hassle of pulling it out and risking damaging it. I'm just really going to make sure it has no breaks or noticable scratches. I think from what I seen in the pics from you guys is that the Predalien is shring wrapped in plastic. It might be a little hard to inspect with that on, but if there is anything I missed once I get it home, I'm sure my Lcs will work something out with me.

Exactly...I want the next Pred maquette more than anything. I will make room for that.
Well, my LCS is retard! I go out there to inspect the damn thing and he tells me that he doesn't want to open it up just yet. He said that he got real busy and ha can't do it till next thursday. So now I have to wait another week. It;s not a real biggy, but the thing is I went all the way out there to get a look at it and then " oh no, I'm sorry, not today" "too busy".. I was able to see the box that the bust is in. It didn't look as big as I thought it would. It's more long than anything. My Alien 3 maquette game in a much taller square shaped box, that I felt was bigger.
The LCS guy did say that the bust was the only box to arrive. And he has yet to recieve the dreds. Yikes! Is this how some of you have been getting yours?

Uhoh...I think it should have come together. And yes, your local shop guy is an idiot...why would he turn you away when you are comitted to a piece that costs $1200? Dumb.
Yeah he called them up to see what deal was. Sideshow said that it should be on it's way. But yeah, The LCS guy also tells me that I have to pick it up in a month.. The agreement was for 2 months! Oh well, the wife ain't going to like that I'm going to have to drop $700 more in a months time, but it will have to be done I guess.

We have a local shop here and the owner is a royal ass hat, I will never shop there again. Whats funny is that he draws pictures of naked women while he is there and tries to sell them in the shop...I kid you not.

Well, his behavior has been questionable at times. I don't think he'll try to screw me if something is wrong with the bust. I think he was beimng honest about being to busy. I just thought it was f'd up that I went all the way out there to check it out and then he pulled that crap on me.
But, I do think I would have been better off ordering straight from Sideshow, with him wanting me to pay it off in two months and all. Sideshow would have given me 5 months to pay it off.
Something this huge and expensive will be done through Sideshow next time.

Congratulations on pickng up the bust either way... I'm still on the fence. I only have one spot it will fit but nowhere to put the box..
For those who have it... would it be easy to break the box and it's packaging down for storage?

And as far as the box goes. From what I saw when looking at it, you can just cut the tape and fold it up with no problems. You would just have to store the packing material in another box or bag or somewhere safe.
