Predalien Vs Newborn !

True, but in ALIENS, Ripley was smacking the Queen across the face with the Power Loader "hands" and that didn't knock its face off. One shot from the Newborn ripped the Queen's head clean off.

I prefer the PredAlien but I have to go with the Newborn on this one.

Yeah, but the Queen Ripley battled didn't just give birth the old fashioned way either. Who knows what giving birth to the newborn did to the queen. It might have sucked her dry and left her weak. After all they did say in the movie that the queen was in pain.

Neither one is as cool as what they were spawned from, but the Predalien does suck a lot less than the newborn.

Well, the newborn was exactly what it was.. a "newborn". It hadn't had the chance to reached "adult" stage. But imagine if it had. Hell, if it was strong enough to smack the queen's head off as a baby... imagine what damage it would of caused if it had reached adult.

Think of the chestbursters.. they were kinda squishy. No armor plating as of yet. But when they reached adult stage. Whoa!!! The predalien was an adult already in the movie. The Newborn given the chance to reach adult stage, would of made mince meat out of the predalien.

See, that actually adds to the absurdity of the newborn for me. I consider the newborn a poor idea from conception to execution, but the PredAlien was a cool concept just sadly underused and explored.

Of the 2, realistically, I'd give edge to the PredAlien, I think having the intelligence of the Predators as a hunter gives it an edge where the newborn simply had brute strength.

Just because it is called "newborn" doesn't mean it is. It could have matured inside the queens sack for all we know. I mean how many newborns are the size or larger of whatever bears them. And like I posted earlier...we have no idea what bearing the newborn did to the queen. She could have been depleted in keeping the hybrid nourished and bearing it. In any event the newborn was just the goofiest creation in the Alien universe. Hell the whole movie blew. That movie makes AVP R look like Schindler's List.

The Newborn is Roughly 8foot and sup slender while the Predalien seems too be around the same height but more built hmmmm....... id say Predalien but who knows maybe they will cross paths one day???

Remember as well that the Queen is Resurrection was a genetically engineered Alien with human DNA incorporated (hence the ability to 'birth' the newborn in the first place) - its quite possible that this inclusion of human DNA made it considerably weaker than the Queen in Aliens

I hate the Newborn soooooooooooo badly, and yet I'd have to vote for it.

If the Predalien was as strong as the Newborn, then the Wolf shouldn't have lasted as long as he did against it.

Keep in mind that we only got a glimpse of what the Newborn is able to do.
The Predalien has more armor, a tail, and the inner jaws in its arsenal.
But, the Newborn is fast as hell (how did it get on the ship with Ripley8 that quick?) and strong like a mutherf*&%*@.

It could also understand what Ripley said to it, so there's no telling what it could have learnt given the same amount of time as the Predalien.

IMO, the Newborn is the only True Hybrid.
The Predalien was just an alien born from a Predator.

I still like the Grid Alien...and the Dog Alien...and the regular aliens...

if the newborn had been born with dutch's mangled dna instead of ripley's, i'd go with the newborn. but otherwise it's the predalien. hell, you could cross arnie's dna with a care bear and that'd beat the predalien. coz arnie is badarse.
