I love predator!!!!....The movies and the characters...But i think I love the characters a WHOLE LOT MORE then the movies...so i'm fine with a simple pose...I admire more the sculpt/creative design/paint app of the character then a specific scene in the movie. That's me though....

Sideshow had like 7 years to mull this over and this is the pose they come up with...
The Eastern Building scene with raised spear in the right hand and Lambert's spine and skull in the left. It was such a simple no brainer and yet we get this wonky legged Predator standing some made up base.
I swear they sabotage themselves by over thinking.

I disagree. I absolutely love the pose they went with. Such subtle elegance.

Though I love his famous roaring pose while holding the combi-stick up, I don't think that would look very good on a 1/4 or larger statue.

This would have been a cool pose but perhaps a little over the top for the scale. Maybe SS can reserve this pose for the 1:5 scale statue.

I don't think the comparison pictures are meant to be a scale representation, maybe just how they look next to each other

I think I'm going to order this one. I love the apocalypse, too, but I just don't have a real connection to that character.

So, from this year's con, that makes Hulk and Pred as must haves...probably Sinestro, too.

Pose is good, but I swear, they've used this on another statue. Probably more than I'm aware of. It's like they're not creative anymore.

Yup, if I could go back in time for 1 piece, it'd probably be the P1 maquette. P1 the movie was a big part of growing up for me, and I still love the movie!

You know I must be alone on this but I never really liked the pose of the p1 MQ, I was there when it was po'ed and passed saw the in hand pics looked better but never regretted it, I was more into the CM version which I ended up not getting cause I retired from the hobby which I really regret to this day, I'm hoping SSC makes an LSF but this p2's pose is perfect IMHO I Will own this for sure.

This statue looks awesome, i luv the pose. If they would have done this pose with any of the wolf statues(except the dio which i have and luv) or the scar statue i would have been all over them. Unfortunately i already have the ss p2 dio statue(which i luv) and dont really have the room or money for this fantastic piece, but congrats to all the p2 fans out there, this is an incredible looking p2 statue.
