Is this an official pic? If so...really wish it had the open mouth.

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

Simply stunning. I know the Wolf pose is more dynamic but there's still something awesome about this one.

Yeh. From the SS site, 100% official.
Open mandible wouldn't suit the pose, his arms would need to be outstretched or something more suited to ' bring it on'.

I actually had no interest in Wolf but will get this. I've lost interest in every other piece until this is secured...
Apart from RS.

Yep, open mouth doesn't suit the pose at all

Are they meant to be to scale?
Has 1:4 been confirmed yet?

stop questioning me, it's 1/4

You sure? :lol

Hulk Maquette was 25.5" with a big base so I would think this would be smaller with a big base?
22"?

How big was the original Maquette azurepred?

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

Yep, I'd bet on it for sure. The p1 maquette is 24in. This is prolly a tad taller, 25-26 in.

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

There's no scale involved in that picture.
No one even knows how big this is to do a scale comparison.

Well, assuming the P2 maquette is 1/4, and we know Wolf lsf is 1/4, you can scale a picture of one or the other to see how they compare.

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

I wonder what the deal is with the teeth on the base. The spear looks like it could use more detail. It looks a little cheap. I'm guessing this will be around $1000. Shouldn't be anymore than $1500. I could see them going that high but that'd be crazy.

The original Predator Maquette was $999 many years ago...Sideshow has cranked up their prices considerably since then and they are going to milk this statue. I will be VERY happy if it is $1k, but it ain't going to happen.

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

Why was the original SS Pred that much? I've always wondered that.
