I must say I had a surprise today. June 12 is my Birthday and as I got up that mourning and checked my emails as I always do I had a email from Sideshow saying that the Predator 2 Maquette Exclusive I had on the Waitlist Converted. I Was not expecting this at all and definitely made my day. I Got on the waitlist around 8 hours after it sold out.

That was always going to happen as the huge price sets in or new pieces come out and people transfer their NRDs. I guess they're slowly converting them of late.

Hmm. Are these PF's or HT figures? I didn't think SS had made it that far along in Iron Man PF's, and I thought you didn't collect figures.

I'd probably go with the P2 Maquette despite it's inaccuracies, but I'm not a huge Iron Man fan. Only a few suits I like enough to purchase. I imagine a big, beautiful new predator statue with all of it's intricately detailed patterns, armor and accessories would be more satisfying.

Damnit, I think I'm talking myself into getting this.

Sideshow teased a **** load of IM Maquettes last night. I don't collect dolls.

Predator is my main love followed by IM.
The $1,200 (plus deliverey & 20% tax) for an inaccurate 1:4 statue is the stumbling block.
Still waiting for inhand pictures vefore deciding on this.

Ah, yeah, waiting on in-hand photos is probably the best bet. Hopefully they don't **** up the paint app as bad as they did on the P2 LSB...

You just said 3 were coming out...

Predator, yes, we need another LSF. Still waiting to see how good this comes out, regular will be around for at least a few months after release IMO. Sucks I gave up my EX but I saved a fair bit in taxes , ended up buying the Spiderman Comm, I don't really like 1/5th but something about the colours just really made me want it. That an I also love Spidey obviously.
