I think you need to call it quits with Sideshow Python. Permanently. I think I'm at that point. Even when Sideshow does a decent job on a statue I want, I'm hesitant to purchase it as I don't want to support them and I know I'll feel dirty and regretful in the end. Other companies are popping up now with quality collectibles (Prime 1, Chronicle, CoolProps), and it's a shame to see you (or anyone) flush so much money down the drain on Sideshow's garbage.

It's clear they're not going to change their ways, and you and many other Alien/Predator fans go through the same **** every time you purchase one of their pieces. It just ends up being a big, stressful disappointment in the end. It's not worth it.

I appreciate the films and designs of the predator, i also grew up watching the pred movies with my dad so the chance to own a pred of this size was something i couldn't pass up(i also didn't pay full retail). Im a casual fan as in i don't go over every single detail of the suit or notice if there is a single bodyspot out of place, sure its missing things but when i look at this on my shelf i see the city hunter.

Lol they weren't so bad just way overpriced, however on that note im preferring statue collecting....my 1/6 collection helped fund this guy

My Comic-Con buddy is a big P2 fan. And even though he quickly noticed some of the issues with this one back at the Con, he is looking to jump on the waitlist. I showed him the Coolprops 1:1 bust, but he's not into busts. How unlikely are conversions at this point?

The mask isn't the EX, all the EX statue includes is an in hand disk (very cool but there is no empty left hand to use it with unfortunately) and a breather so he won't be missing out at all tbh as the regular includes both heads which is what matters most.

Doesn't hurt to try for an EX of course, but I suspect he'll have no trouble converting a regular version.

My bad. In my last reply, mask = breather. He said he's going to try for the EX anyway. Personally, I am shocked he wasn't more impressed with the 1:1 bust.

No it doesn't. I had a waitlist convert around 12 months before the statue was due to ship and they let me flex when I called and asked.
