Yea, the paint gives it away. They were not that color or tiger striped.

Yeah stingray is right, I was wondering that myself and thought it was just some weird flash but now that I think about it it looks like one of them I saw on ebay. Another thing I saw on some of the recast was the light on the base was removable.

I actually bought it with the intention of shipping it off for a repaint. I met a guy who does work on NECA prototypes and I was going to get him to make it more screen accurate but after receiving it.. I kinda like the color and pattern. Not a big fan of the Alien movies but I love the character design.

So I just had a nice surprise, a £182 refund from the tax man from my refund of this guy!! Who thought we'd ever see the day?

It will go towards buying another one of these as despite it's annoyances, it's a nice statue and will look great next to the 1:1 CP bust when it arrives....

I'm hoping to eventually find someone selling the ex disc hand. Coming from figures to statues I really appreciate the option of Options!
