The more I get time to think about this the harder it is to justify a large price difference between the NECA and the Maq.

If the Maq comes out at $800-$900 I'm not sure I can justify that with a perfectly fine (but baseless) NECA on the shelf. I've always loved my NECA and for the price it's heavily underrated. Especially the masked versions of the P1 and P2.

The head sculpt on this Maq better be nigh on perfect, proper mandibles and all. As well as the paint job.

Wow! do you know what, i havent visited that thread nor the new Captain America thread since Comic Con. Not sold on the Spidey EX...i have the most defintive Spierman collectable with the original comiquette plus i still need to off load the Spidey PF aswell at some point.

I think you'll be more happy with the IP 1:1 bust! Just thini, it'll be your first 1:1 bust and you'll be able to turn on the light up features plus you can alternate the cannon on either shoulder All that for a measly $999!

To be perfectly honest i'm not a fan of 1:1 busts.
I had two IM 1:1 busts, both had issues, and wasn't impressed with the plasticy feel or the paint on them.
I know you love your busts...Boom! Boom!
I did have the Gamorrean Guard 1:1, as you know I don't even like SW, and that was absolutely amazing. Wish I kept that

Gotta say, i've never encountered any problems with my IM busts byt i was aware that there were issues so guess i'm one of the lucky ones. I do love the Iron Man busts but there are only a few others that i would buy, those are the 1:1 Lord of Darkness Bust (which i've resigned to never getting) and the other is the Vader 1:1 bust (which i've been umming and erring over for the past year or so)

The Iron Man busts are just awesome, some of Sideshows best for me. Although not 100% accurate (as the size is actually not true to 1:1) i still get a chill when those bad boys are staring at me straight in the eyes!

Who wouldn't want a Lord Of Darkness 1:1

I've always thought that about the IM scaled pieces. It's a suit so should be bigger than an actual person. I know RDJ is small but not that bloody small

Yep some of the custom ones ive recieved in the past have been even smaller! Talking of which, at least you got half a bust arriving next month with the MKIV 1:2 scale That is so gonna be killer!!

I hope the paint is good on that, it will be epic
I was going to pass because I didn't like the one arm look at first. Then I saw it months later and ordered straight away.
I'll be lucky to see mine before Christmas
