Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

It is? I always assumed it was closer to 1/3 scale. Cool, looks like they'll go well together, after all. Thanks for the info.

I have all 3, Wolf ain't close to 1/3, except in height. If your gonna display this next to Wolf, maybe a slight raise under the base will look better cause Wolf will prolly be 5-8 in taller than this. Close ups!!

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

wish it had the open mouth pose, would have been much more scary looking

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

That cutting disk base for the bio will look pretty cool hanging on the wall

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

I collect figures not statues, only because I would be homeless if I did.
However, I do have the SS Elder and so want this City Hunter but, would some kind person here enlighten me to the difference between maquettes and regular statues? My Elder is about 18" tall...What size does anyone think this will be and how about a guesstimate on pricing? Ive read from 600- 1500...really? :thud:

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

This will not be less than 600.
No one knows the scale yet but will probably be 1:4 making around 20" plus, hopefully. Your Elder is 1:5 so will be a bit smaller.

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

Always with the weird body mechanics. Who's in charge of that? That knee needs to be turn out a bit.

And now that I've seen the teeth on the bottom edge of that base, my eye can't stop going there. Was that supposed to pay homage to Giger, or something?

Is it just me, or does the spear look like it was barrowed from the 1/6 HT P2?

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

I gotta disagree with you about the knee, it screams KPH to me, he always had his knees turned in as the predators

The base is a funky design choice...

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter Maquette

Really? I can't think of a single iconic shot of either KPH Pred with his knees turned in.

The maquette isn't ruined for me by it, it's just one of those things, because I want it to be the best, that just stands out to me.

Proportions are good and I hope paint is done at the same factory as Wolf LSF or better factory.
