On the plus side, when I ordered this the first time around, I was given an early shipping estimate of $120!! The item page is now showing it as $40! Assuming that isn't a mistake, you really do have to give Sideshow credit for their international shipping prices, it is a huge help. Other companies charge so much more...

Exactly why I gave up on this piece. I personally could live with the dreads and small spear but not the bald face.

Unfortunately not. You could try and find the original SW P1 Maquette.
CoolProps have a P2 1:1 Bust which should be available soon... Looks awesome.

Yea the lack of quills is very distracting, if I get him I am sticking with the masked head, but may wait on what prime 1 studios come up with, since this price is coming into prime 1 studios price range, why not wait for what prime 1 comes up with?

New to this forum here and have this piece on POD. With that being said, I've read far back on the forum about the concerns for this piece and well I've found it interesting. I agree with many of the concerns especially for the price so I'm looking forward in making my own judgment with it in hand. I will post pictures here of course and will make a video of the piece on my YouTube channel when I get it. This will be my first Predator statue piece so I hope I'm not disappointed when I get it but again I will reserve my opinion when it's in my hand. I have the bio 1:1 masks from P1 and P2 so it be nice to have this statue as a companion to the P2 replica mask.

I don't mind paying for a decent 1/4 P2, this SSC version is hardly cheap. I just wish Prime 1 would say something about their plans sooner rather than later. As disappointing as aspects of this Sideshow maquette are, I'm still toying with the idea of getting one. If P1 confirm they will do one, even if it is years off, It would make the decision to pass on this even easier.

I agree bro! It's a tough decision.
But from a distance this piece would have a presence, but getting up and close to it... Ahhhh disaster! Lmao!
I think we'll have some stuff from P1 and CP's soon. Fingers crossed.

Why are you so sure? They've hinted at it but they've also hinted at many other various licenses in the past several months, right? The closest thing to confirmation I recall seeing is Kira posting a winking smiley or some ****.

I really want them to get the license, but they've already got so much on their plate with the ten-thousand Batman-related collectibles they're making, and more Transformers. I don't see how they could squeeze in Predator.

Well let's hope that happens my friend. I know for certain Chronicle aren't even entertaining the Alien and Predator franchise for now.

All eyes on CoolProps for now with regards to this franchise. I so want the P2 Maquette, but every time I load up the screen on my phone from SSC's website it destroys it for me... Like I'm hoping they've added the quills etc haha! Oh well! They did the quills on the Wolf... Why not P2!!!! Lmao!
