you can say that again!!!
I finally got a reply from Sideshow regarding my piece, they basically wan't me to destroy the bust so I can get a refund :horror
Never heard of such stupidity!!!!
I replied & said "NO" give me some credit instead, I paid nearly $400 based on the prototype bust but I didn't get that instead I got a pale version of the bust with ugly stenciled triangles over the head, to top it off you have now replaced the original pictures with new ones on the Sideshow ORDER page!!!
since my reply they haven't bothered to reply to me, that was 5 days ago!
Thats what you call customer service :monkey4

Having you destroy it for a refund is pretty standard procedure... :-\

So there's nothing wrong with it, as regards to damage, you're just not happy with it?
Would if thought it would of been worth them paying the return postage to sell it on :cuckoo: Wonder if they put the number on another one and sell that?

Great work. Can you please tell us all how you applied the paint was it by brush or air brush. What colours did you use ?

I was wondering the same thing.

My guess would be by brush and colours are brown and black.
Maybe Tamiya paints.

thanks guys,
for the colors i mixed golden paints brown and Orange to match the factory colors, then airbrushed the patterns. the armor was hand brushed and weathered with copper, bronze, gold, and patina.
the beads were given a few washes of black, brown, and patina.
eyes were airbrushed.

Haha, I love how you give everyone in here who shrugged their shoulders, and accepted failure second thoughts by making this bust look what it's supposed to look like. Congratulations on such an outstanding revamp from pure garbage, dude. Night and day...that's all I gotta say.

Wish you were nearby so I can have you touch up mine. That's how it's supposed to look like! Dayam!

Not everyone has the skill or nerve to attempt what he did.
Wish I was as talanted :monkey2 Excellent work my friend :clap

Wow what the heck happened to this piece!? I was really tempted to get it before inhand pics surfaced. That repaint above is superb and how this should have been released.
