So when you say "it looks nothing like the proto pictures I want a refund" they will say...

I doubt that they did it to scam you out of returns. They already taken returns which is why it went from sold out to in stock again. I mean, would you expect them to keep the proto pic up for a piece that looks different when they are trying to re-sell it?

Cancellations and returns :wink1:
Very few pieces they produce look as good as the proto which is professionally painted. The production pieces are done by factory workers on a pittance.
The original proto picture was up for about a year.

I just thought of something, in those videos SS had on not too long ago it showed them going to the factory and inspecting the product before it ships. This just shows they don't care and will ship anything.

The bigger the company gets more focus is on making money while sacrificing quality. Happens to a lot of small businesses that get big.

Well SSC got back to me they will either give me $45 back or I can exchange it. The paint on most of these pics looks like mine so I think i will go for the exchange dont really want to be stuck with paint chips.

What do you guys think worth the risk?

$45 doesn't do it matey, best thing you can do if you are not happy with it is to get an exchange, just my opinion :)

After such a long wait, here's the reply I got from them:

Dear Yautja,

Thank you for your email and your patience. We are sorry to hear that this piece did not meet your expectations. Please know that every piece we make is hand-made. When human hands are painting or finishing these statues there will be subtle paint or sculpt variations you can find on every statue if you look close in enough, just as you would with any hand crafted work of art.

We want you to be satisfied with the statues that you purchase from us and we do not want you to feel stuck with something that you are unhappy with. If you are not satisfied with your Predator Bust, we will be happy to offer you a full refund for this statue. If this is how you would like to proceed, I will provide you instructions to destroy the piece so that your refund may be processed.

Please let us know how you would wish to proceed with this inquiry. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best Regards.

its very impressive in person!

The top of the head is tons better in the second pic, dude. You're very fortunate enough to have the skills to be able to do that, while a lot of other people don't. Consider yourself blessed....now do something about his left eye.

Here's mine...

Not much to say that hasn't been said already.

I know it's a cliche, but this piece does look a lot better in person than in pics. The sculpt is so good that I can overlook the paint job....for now.
