The outfit is great...

As for the sculpt, it's hard to point out where you can improve it, but a start would be the lips. they look very big and are too pink.

You have reason guys

As others have said, the forehead must be more streched and the lips a bit little than how is now.

And for the paintjob, I would recomend you gradient colors instead a flat color to all the face, differentiating cheeks and giving more light in some areas than in another to help the volume. Also try not to overuse of varnish to create the effect of sweat. You should use a more timely manner, as if it were drops. The lips must go from out more dark to inside more clear. one important thing is relocate the eyes in a good position, never center, more down, more up, to one side or to another. This way you can improve the expression, more realistic.

See this example for the tips above.

Everybody has to start somewhere stick with it and you'll def see improvements. Just really going to reiterate making the lips smaller and trying to vary the skin tones rather than using one block colour.

Great outfit tho!

Yes, it's a good start. I still look back at someof my first paint ups and ask myself what was I thinking. Every time you get better and the hobby becomes more fun. Keep going.

What headsculpt is that? There are a few good Glover sculpts out there that would be much better for this project. Also, always study actual pics of the actor when painting a headsculpt. My advice is to not guess at eye location or skintone, use actual pics for reference or you'll end up making it with the comical doll look to it.

Stick with it, this is what makes the hobby fun!

If I were painting it, I'g go with a base skin tone that I felt matched the overall color of the actor I'm trying to portray.
Once I had a good coat, I'd add highlights (slightly lighter tones) and lowlights (slightly darker tones) to give the flesh a more realistic quality.
Unless a character's lips are a VERY different color from their skintone, I tend to have them fall into the lowlights category with a possible TOUCH of pink added.
Glover's lips appear to be similar in color to his base skin tone, so an out-and-out pink lead people to the blackface connection and honestly, it was my first thought too.

Just give my advice a try and see what happens, I can amlost gaurantee it will improve the appearance AND comments.

Now is better but you need to fix the smoothness of the color changes and makes the eyes to be well located, at the same height. ;)

yes i see the right eye is a little bit down
but it s - jim from tom sawyer like my bro send in my face lol at the first sculpt
