Probably. Similar stance on both with slightly taller base on Pred.
Suppose that makes the Endo 6' and Pred 8'. Thought Pred was 7.5'.
Both great pieces anyway and I really do hope those shelves have extra support.

Says July-September on SS any official word from coolprops when this will be released? If that's a production piece shouldn't be too far off right?

So come on, how much longer til this sells out and preorders close?
End of week?
End of month?
Will they still be available when the P1 is revealed?

Yeah, they have a habit of just selling out all of a sudden. They did say that while it won't be numbered, it will be very limited so presumably they have a number in mind that they're waiting to hit. They said also that they might reveal the ES once the orders are closed. Not an ideal way of doing things, but it beats the un"limited" runs other companies offer with no information provided at all.

I hope it doesn't sell out before some in-hand pics arrive. I don't want to drop this much cash down before being sure of the quality. To used to Sideshow...

The last one shown was a production piece right?
I believe that's what has been said, yes, but I'd rather wait for photos of the actual product in collectors' hands just to be on the safe side.

The warping/unevenness on the Aliens busts has me a bit worried that this could come out looking similar, and that it just isn't noticeable in the pics we've seen so far.

They've only released two bio-masks so far right? I imagine it's much easier to paint a bio mask correctly than a predator face.

Might be a bit of an irrational fear, we'll see.

I concour with our lil burger... Actual in-hand pics from a shipped product will tell all... Well.. The 2nd set will.. 1st ones always look like crap... :lol

The Aliens aren't warped molds, that is just how the props looked, I wouldn't worry about this being warped at all. Although I am always a little suspicious of these early "production" samples we see from various companies. They always seem to be of a higher standard than what the customer actually receives.

I get that, but I would have preferred it if CoolProps had cleaned them up and made them more symmetrical. Same with the P2's dreads.

Between that and the paint scheme they chose, I think I'll be passing on the warriors. I really want the Newborn but now that someone mentioned it, it does seem a bit small...

Sideshow's 1:1 Alien Warrior is also distorted in the same fashion as the CoolProps 1:1. It's unfortunate, but the original film used pieces were not sculpted with perfect simetry. While I find it annoying, because I have a bit of a simetry complex, I've come to accept anything representative of a film used 1:1 Aliens warrior to be uneven on both sides.

Just click that preorder button. You know you want too!

Well then they wouldn't be accurate to the props and people would complain about that. I share a mild ocd regarding such things, but many movie props are warped, it's just how it is. They offered an accurate colour scheme, and one that accounts for the movies blue filter, what paint scheme were you hoping for?

I guess it's not the scheme that I dislike necessarily, but more the colors and the intensity of them. Too bright. Too vivid. Too brown. Too blue.

The Alienhead looks like the "swampdonkey"head that he sold years ago on the RPF.This was also warped because it came from a screenused foamhead.
It was not the first time that SS used fanmade stuff for their busts...they used portumacs Vader Reveal mask also for their Vader Reveal bust. Its a thread on the propden about this.:wink1:
