2) Is this diorama a new figure from Hot Toys new Predator line?

A Diorama is a polystone statue featuring the creature and background from the movie. Its not a toy its a legitimate collectible and this ****s over anything HT can produce when it comes to Predators get in quick

Why do you say it's better than anything HT can produce? I just don't see it. As I said earlier, the HT figures actually seem more detailed, bigger, and they're posable -- all for the same price as this statue. Unless you're hung up on the idea that they're "toys."

(It does of course blow away HT's plastic statues, if that's what you meant.)

Not much else i can say but i prefer a statue to a toy so maybe its personal preference.

The Elder throne was a total POS man, in Australia they are trying to sell it for $295 i felt like knocking the guy out

one guy is selling a Wolf bio for 700..

Hot Toys Predator stuff is great, and this new diorama statue by Sideshow is also a must have for Pred fans, but I wouldn't compare them to each other... don't see the point. Hot Toys makes kick-ass Predator action figures. When they make the P1 Predator, it will be a must have, too.

Sideshow rules when it comes to polystone statues, and anyone who wants a great-looking static P1 Pred to display for a reasonable price can now have one! This will do very nicely for me, since the maquette and CM are just too expensive for my collecting budget.

Edit: Okay, I see you were talking about HT dioramas... none of that even comes close to Sideshow's stuff.
