It's supposed to be on one of the newer super pred bodies, but with some re-sculpting, so it should be as tall as them. Someone posted a pic on the Shadow Predator thread of that one standing next to Falconer, and it was as tall as that.

Hot Toys figure is still the better action figure in my mind.

I look at the HT figure then i get an idea and i have a little play and change the pose or the mask or something. I look at the Neca figure and i dont want to touch it because theres nothing i can really do with it. Neca P1 is alot more photogenic but thats it now.

Well, my friend, we still haven't seen the CLASSICS Predator from them. That is likely gonna' blow this stuff outa' the water. Neca's will hold on tight, but if HT gives us a new P1 after the Classics debut, with all the new LED features, in-scale sculpting and beautiful heads... we're all broke. & Hot Toys will have redeemed themselves (almost)

didn't the P1 started out like that in the beginning until the final shocking reveal.
classic may be on a newer body, but still standing on a base, prototype pics so results may vary...often waay off...and its HT. HT y'know...History could repeats itself. It has to, coz no-one listens.

Yeah, I mean it looks TWICE as good in my opinion.

I did, however, cancel my preorder. I'm going to hold out on it knowing there's a chance they'll give us a DX/P1 version down the line with the new bodies.
They need to give us a new Alien Big Chap as well... I'd rather have the Snake personally (as long as the "Classic" is based off of its appearance in Predators I could forgive myself for having to wait a while).

I may regret it, but my wallet won't...

Yeah its a tad risky banking on a new P1. Nothing is certain with HT even things one would think obvious.

I cannot see a P1 for at least a few years unless its a DX or an identical in every way clone is made in a new movie and it gets a figure.

Banking on a P1 especially when there is literally next to no reason for their to be one is a bit pointless. There already is one (it just so happens to be a bit crap) and Classic can be kit bashed into one if you shop the bits yourself and know what you are doing.

You are making it sound like DX figures exist purely for the eyes. Which is horse_____. They are complete overhauls in nearly every way. PERS is but 1 factor in DX figures and probably the most gimmicky and least important one. It got old back with the DX01 and only came to light again when every bodys started to break.

They could go with a rubber skinned body, metal wired mandibles, wire metal fingers, real metal armor , flash up eyes for the bio, a nice tree diorama ect for a DX Predator. They could drop the PERS for all i care. But however going back to your original point of barely visible eyes im not sure how many Predators you have but i have had all the head sculpts and there is only P2 that had difficult to see eyes to a point if i did moved them id have to hold the figure on its back to see under its brow.

So far, if I'm right, the only things common to and exclusive to all DX figures is PERS and a fancier box. So I think Prefused is right there. Now I only have DX Batman and Joker so I could be wrong. Many 'basic' MMS figures have come heavily packed out with extra parts. Take T-1000 - thats a DX in all but name and the fact it has no PERS and it being a fairly typical HT box. So in terms of the figures themselves PERS is the common factor - and PERS isn't really necessary on a Predator, maybe not even possible for one reason or another.

I can see a new P1, if it happens, being released as another con-exclusive - a must for obsessives and completists but not really essential for anyone whose just as happy with either the original figure or the Classic converted into P1.

They do all have PERS. But PERS is taking too much credit here given that every DX that has came out is a completely new and upgraded figure than the original. Its not just the figure thats previously released with eyes and box. And of course you already know that. But its no reason to make DX and PERS interchangeable terms and mean you cant have one without the other.

But that aside on the contrary i think the eyes in the original movie were used a lot to express emotion and especially if they made a Super Predator DX the eyes are not hidden at all they could be used for some great facial expressions.

the classic and shadow are going to be on the same body. shadow is already in hand in picks next to falconer and they are the same height...
i doubt they would use a different body for classic if they've just made a new body for shadow. wouldnt make much sense if they were trying to maximize profits. same with how berserker falconer and tracker all have the same bodies...

So you're turning into an HT troll, now? You act no different nor less in denial than any of the other members here who feel they have to choose sides just to be taken seriously. If you really loved the character, you'd be more open and establish your opinion on a case-by-case basis. Both companies have their own strengths and weaknesses. Even the hardcores who will only purchase from one of them can at least admit to that.
