Man, since when did the ES on this become 2500? Was it set that high from the beginning? That's a huge edition run.

Seriously? (goes to check)
Woot! Hopefully, this means that finding a regular at a cheaper price will be easy. I don't want to spend more than $300 shipped for this.

"Est. Ship Date: 3rd Qtr 2011
Limited Edition: 2500"

:slap :gah: :panic: :monkey4 :panic: :gah: :slap

I used reward points to buy it. 4 years of reward points. When I ordered the ES was TBD I thought. I know it shouldn't matter, but smaller ES are important to me as it helps to keep the items collectible and desirable. Not sure if I would have ordered if I had known this upfront. I probably would have, just because this thing looks so awesome, but this was an unpleasant surprise.

So if you POed and used RP, does that mean you're getting an Ex anyway? The ES for that is only 500.
The regular being at 2500 bothers you? :dunno
In any case, it's an awesome looking bust. No matter what, it'll look great in any collection.

Wait, I thought the issue with there being so many was that the quality would be worse.
Not that it would ruin the rarity of the collectible..which sounds ridiculous imo...

Well :dunno at-least we all get one for sure and Reg. version will be below SS retail price @ many places. Remember Iron Man Mark VI
Maquette has Edition of 2000 and had allot of issue and it was sold out and now is hard to find it cheaper.

that's my one and only concern with this piece, the QC. With such a high ES, I won't hesitate to send this back if it has any issues with it.

Oh. I didn't realize the was an ex and non-ex. I got the ex, so I guess I'm okay with the 500 ES.

A 2,500 edition size means I'll be able to get it later for a good price!

Do you think there is a chance that SS will lower the edition size? I doubt they can sell that many, not at the current price.

no chance, and this will sell fine, won't sell out fast, but eventually, and will be very sought after once the line continues with the P2. I would be suprised if the Ex came in stock cause the ES for the nameplate is so low compared to the reg.

I just hope they do a good job with the PJ & the attention to detail specially on a piece that is being mass produced!

If they screw this one up, not only will I be sending it back I will also not buy anymore in the line.
