I am in the same boat...was wondering the same thing about the dreads. They kinda appear to be much like the wolf dreads.
 
So sculpted is better than?
The Wolf bust's dreads were a disaster. I think that's the main reason people stay away from it. They would dry out if you didn't keep oiling them or something, they'd crack..they were just a big mistake.

With the sculpted dreads, you don't have to worry about them deteriorating, cracking, etc.

I just thought about it, I've never really been into busts. I've tried (wolf bust) but I just can't really dig them. I really wanted to because it's P1 but I can't. I just prefer whole figures like PF's and maquettes.

I know where you are coming from. I'm the same way. However, this will be my first, and probably my only bust purchase. I think the piece really showcases the Predator design, which is what I was after in the collectible, rather than a full-body piece.

It's tough losing the NRD. I did it with Gollum.
