So I'm guessing they won't charge me on the 15th of this month and swith to Dec and Jan.
I still have 2 payments on this

Wish I felt more excitement for this coming, but right now I'm thinking why did I order this again?
Hoping this is a hit after the two alien busts that I have.

Lol, I read mine as such regardless. I meant to cancel but keep forgetting too, I'll decide this week whether I'm going to cancel or have a look at it in person, I'm not really excited about it tbh.

I personally think this piece is going to come out ok. Possibly kidding myself, but the Predator unmasked LSB was a pleasant surprise.

It may come out okay, it is just that something hasn't been sitting right with it for me, even the prototype. I think it is the over all shape of the mask and the way all of the dreads curve inwards, it's good, but not amazing if you know what I mean. I do like it over all, there is one picture that THX posted from the con that makes me question cancelling it every time I go to do so... I just hope we get a staggering masked P2 before the line ends, something through which SSC can say, see how good we can be...


It looks good here.. Although I expect little detailed weathering to be present on production pieces.

It may come out okay, it is just that something hasn't been sitting right with it for me, even the prototype. I think it is the over all shape of the mask and the way all of the dreads curve inwards, it's good, but not amazing if you know what I mean. I do like it over all, there is one picture that THX posted from the con that makes me question cancelling it every time I go to do so... I just hope we get a staggering masked P2 before the line ends, something through which SSC can say, see how good we can be...

Yeah I get what your saying Python and from past experiences with SSC's we all have a right to be dubious. It looks so cool in that picture and can't wait to see it next to my unmasked LSB.
The mask and dreads aren't entirely accurate yet less we forget that these LSB's are an artists interpretation of the classic jungle hunter. With the LED light up feature and welcome addition of the plasma cannon I'm really kinda excited about this piece in all honesty.
Ive got the SSC Predator 1:1 Bust coming soon l, which I'm sure is going to blow my mind!

Artist interpretation in the statue industry 99% of the time means can't be assed to actually do it right.... If it was a real interpretation it wouldn't be trying to look like it it would go for some sort of style that's different. Cartoon version of the predator? Sure. This? No. I would happily keep mine if it comes like the pic above though, I just don't expect it too :|

Seeing this as SDCC 2014 sold me immediately. Getting the unmasked LSB sold me further. Delays + going over budget for collectibles this year = I'm going to be passing either way. If pics starting posting by Dec, and it's good, I'll be glad. Not going to hold my breath for this to be available a few months into '16, though. It's still wait-listed as it is.

Too often, this is a term that is used to excuse poor sculpting and/or art direction.

Regular is an open ES, which is yet another negative for this piece.

Thanks, I wasn't sure. On SS site both are on wait list. I'm sure it's there way of trying to make this seem more desired.
Seems odd that the regular with a open ES would already be wait listed too.
