The best I could probably do would be carving the old DarkHorse logo they used to put on the inside cover (and back) of the comics sometime... even then, that'd not be easy.

the link i posted is a tutorial of how he carved them. the only thing he left out is the fact that you have to be good at sculpting first.
i'm pretty sure it's legit.

Batty posted the link to this guy's other work in "Other Topics" and he says you have to get very heavy pumpkins for it's size and also weird shaped ones. It is legit.

Just saw a commercial on TV that the food channel is going to have some kind of program with this kind of pumpkin carving on it (I missed the airing date), I gotta see that show!

Doubt anyone will carve up a Predator, but after seeing that pic, and the commercial, I have to see how this kind of stuff is done.

That's incredible. I remeber when I got one of those stencils and carved a detailed skeleton silouhette, the damn thing was drooping by the end of the night. Spraying OJ on the carved part is supposed to help, but I don't see this thing lasting for more than a day or two before it starts to turn.
