i collect a ton of things, for predator its hot toys, for marvel its hot toys/hasbro, for all my video game stuff its play arts / neca, just depends what company offers the best product and/or the fullest lines, iwasnt meaning to offend anyone with my comment,

Since their figures are assembled and painted by hand, they might be experiencing a lack of manpower. They've announced more figures at the same time than ever before, and I'm pretty sure their production run for an individual figure like Supes, Indy and Jack are way higher than they were a couple years ago.

All this leads either to delays or abysmal quality control.

You do realize that almost ALL toys are assembled and painted by hand...right?

Yes, but it takes a lot more time and effort to paint a HT head sculpt than to spray paint a set of toy cars.

The point is, they probably bit off more than they can chew with the manpower and facilities they have at their disposal. Hence, all the delays.

Hmmm the rumor around here said, I'm Asian btw, that HT needed time to clear things up about their lincences or unreleased products such as Sam Flynn, and try to control their QC since it dropped vastly this year.
They have the same problem with SS it'd say.

That sounds good due to half the led lights on the super predators being messed up.Look what happen to that new Batman WOW , I have to say though i love the shadow and the quality was good from what i read.Lets hope Jack Sparrow has no problems

first you need to understand that Tsang depicted. according to the movie Predators in 2010? no. According to the movie Predator in 1987? no. so who will the figure represents?

i do not know what Tsang sculpted. the figure represents a very free interpretation of the character Predator 1 (or Classic Predator). a figure does not represent any one particular character from the Predators, which is in the movies.

It sounds like you're saying he looks generic and that HT took too much artistic license with him. I don't quite agree, or at least he looks a lot more like a b@d@$$ predator than the HT Big Chap Alien looks like the 1979 Alien IMO. He's got a really intimidating face whereas the Big Chap figure, perhaps living up to the ridiculous nickname which I still can't believe HT actually put on the box, just looks stupid and unintentionally funny.

I don't think the Big Chap figure looked that bad, didn't look much like Giger's Alien though...

But although this Predator hardly resembles the movie ones, it's still incredibly badass and much better than their big chap figure.
