Predators are really that rare???

I'm pessimistic that this'll happen

I once tried curbing my interest with Pred figures, but broke down when the new movie came out And since Predators is billed to have a sequel, I think the flame's just going to get much hotter.

My recommendation is to get the Lost Predator, since it's the cheapest right now. If you like it, then go for the original predator. It is still considered 'affortable' compared to the older AVP predators.
I sold most of my HT predators to get the CM predator. Now the only HT predator I kept is the original predator.

i bought the p-1 for 250 shipped and now he's like 300-350,in just a few months this is crazy.

I sold a few on here for reasonable prices. I bought mine early and felt no need to gouge. Now I have three left out of the seven I originally had and I'm happy with that. But I don't begrudge people who charge the high prices or those who are willing to pay them. The market sets the price and right now, these Preds are hot. If you're not willing to pay the prices and you don't get lucky finding one cheap on this board, you will be left out in the cold. Personally as a collector, I new well ahead of time when each Predator was going to be released and budgeted accordingly so I did not run into these problems.

Based on the pics, yup, it's pretty neat.

But as a successful combination of function and form, I'm still going for P1 Pred. Berserker's relatively diminutive 22 points of articulation is a let-down for me. Still PO'd him, though, as I know this is going to sell out fast.

I think the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2009. HT said they'd do a Classic with a new updated body, so I myself am waiting on that.

i think i am going to wait for that too then
i don't really like the original bodies they are too skinny.
however i am still interested in the AVP armors as they look awesome.

Yeah, and it's going to be a great alternative for those who missed out on P1. So far, the only difference is I think some details in the biomask and the Classic's lack of bone trophies.

those armors will only fit certain pred bodies otherwise you'll have to customize a bit.

and the newer preds comes with less articulation, accessories and armors compared to older preds on retail.

in the end, you better know what you want or else you'd end up with a lot you don't.

Honestly I don't think they're so rare. They seem to be easily acquireable, for a price.

What really gets me angry is the ht terminators on ebay. They start out bidding at 99 cents and end up over 150! If those jerks who bid things up were careful they could be getting those terminators for under $30.

Don't think so. All those "jerks" would just put in their highest bid at the last minute...and most likely bid higher just to make sure.... there's a thing called market price.... products generally sell for what their worth.. (going rate).

Many people bid up in 50 dollar increments days before the auction is over.

They could be selling for a lot less than they're worth if people were careful! But they aren't, for some reason.
