The element of doubt is really frustrating isn't it. I'm experiencing it across both Predator and Terminator.

I know there's afew things on the way but it's felt a slow start to the year.

im experiencing it with TRON! if they dont make a QUORRA im going to be PISSED. there is so much potential with those characters. so many cool costumes.

i know i know. they wont touch tron i dont think. and the start of this year has been slow. but there are so many coming out soon. were going to get hit hard pretty soon.

You should make something for the 1/4 Predator. That's going to be hitting us first

With the way they're taking on so many licenses I hope the negative impact on the 'old reliables' is a delay in new figures and not the total abandonment of them.

Old reliables got them to were they are now. Hopefully they know this

waaaay too big, haha, and i dont know if anyones getting that. im not. would love to, but dont have faith in many other companies aside from HT. if people get it, and have a commision idea for some kind of base, feel free to knock on my inbox.

Have faith in the sculpt firstly, then see what happens

i wanted to repost this over here from my other thread incase there was anyone who felt the same way here, and needed reassurance im a real person who wont screw you over.

A question that should be asked (and may have already), and be made for all to read vs. in a private setting, how good are you at meeting your goal of the finished product for the client? I only ask because a few customizers here have burned a few of us Freaks in the past. I think it's only fair I ask this question. Do you have anything to back yourself up in this regard. Not trying to be rude, but covering everyone's bases. Also, I am interested as a potential client.

of course its fair to ask... ive done lots of customs. my icon is the liono i made, made 6 of these guys for people on facebook. also made the king webstor motuc figure, 2 of those, 3 blackstars, 3 cheetaras, 1 panthro, the matty collector figure, made someone here on the board a custom iron patriot 1/6 scale with base.
here are some photos of stuff ive done, sold and done again and again for people. mostly people on facebook, or ebay, but if you need refrences i could pull them together.

also am a professional working comic book artist, so know about finishing things. finished a 300 page graphic novel, NATHAN THE CAVEMAN www.bishart.net/nate and sold over 400 or so copies of that, self published, and sent out myself.
done several books since, working on several now, including one with marvel/dc writer JIM KRUEGER ( justice, earth x, avengers invaders.)

so i definatly can be trusted, and wouldnt risk my reputation, or toy trading and selling stature. haha plus if for some reason, like i fell deathly ill and couldnt get these dioramas done, everyone who sent a deposit would obv. get their money back.

Bishart i would post this on the art forum here and maybe the hunters lair ,you may get people that dont check this forum to add to your list of sellers.Great dio , im guessing each one is hand made?It would be very hard to cast im guessing?

Yeah i think its based on the subject.....so predators dio's fit in the art area plus if you watch it close there's alot of sales there.Those 1/6 heads sell.
Dio's should sell but i dont think they do as much,people are very pleased with there tacky wallpaper background in there collection pictures........not me though.

so ive begun prepping for more bases, went out and got a bunch of awesome pieces of wood.
the original pictured base is still up for grabs, but if you miss it, or want a specific piece of wood for your diorama, you can get on the list and choose from these pictured here. the long ones will be cut in half, so choose your end. this is a weird way to do it i agree, but figured people might be into choosing their own.

How come you aren't keeping your original base for yourself?

Still very much interested by the way. Not sure what piece of wood I'd prefer out of that lot - on the one hand I'd like a half of one of the big thicker pieces, yet on the other hand some of the smaller thinner pieces have more 'character'......I dunno.

im not keeping the original, because i thought it would be easier for people to buy something they see DONE, if people would rather buy one without seeing it first thats fine too obv, i just figured i could always make another for myself one day if someone was more comfortable buying this first one in the pics.

the "K"L" piece in there is really awesome. i think thats my fave. it has little holes in it, very cool texture. i think ill prolly use one half of that for my own. wood doesnt cost me anything haha, (aside from shipping weight.) so if you wanted some little one in there too i could do that.

Hmm, maybe 2 pieces is just greedy. There might not be enough room on it anyway...

nope, not too much, youve got the right idea. you can grab those 2, are you going to hop on the official list? k/l and m. ill make it work.

i understand what you mean in your last part there. haha

whatever you want to do man. if youd rather pay deposit now, and have your choice of the original base, or a new one with those new pieces of wood its your call. i just dont want to start on any without someone putting down the deposit. because anything can happen, and not that you would bail, but who knows, i dont want to be stuck with more than one of these and no one who wants them haha.

as far as how long... hmmm after this week, i could prolly finish it in about a week.

i gotta tell you my terminator dio. idea too. i think its awesome. you might not, haha it wasnt on your list.
