That never stopped me from seeing anything in the theatres when I was underaged.

As for the texters, I've never had that problem. Usually giving them a swift kick to the seat and a polite request to "put the ____ing thing away" work for me 99% of the time.

I think I first saw Predator when I was 8. I loved it, but the predator scared the shieet out of me

Just got back. ____ing awesomeness. Royce was a badass. Liked his character, as well as the others. Better than the AVP films and better than Predator 2, IMO. Very solid, and enjoyable film, and great addition to the franchise. I won't go into a detailed review, but it was awesome. Loved all of the little nods to P1.

Best death went to the prisoner (his name escapes me). Full blown spinal rip. What's not to love?

PS. The face of the Predator (Mr. Black/ Berserker/ whatever the ____ his name is) looks a lot better in the film. Do not judge it based on the photos we have seen.

I'll just add onto this. My mates didn't really like it, so I guess you have to be a fan of the series to enjoy it. I asked them, and they didn't understand references, so yeah.
