It was just for marketing. It's not that hard of a concept to grasp. It was ALWAYS for marketing. There was always 4 Predators.

well that is stupid. after seeing that scene l thought they were every were. just like in AVP for the commercial they showed the thousands of aliens storming the pyramid, and it was just a stupid scene that did not have anything to do with the actual plot. false advertising if you ask me.

It happens alot in trailers actually.

I've heard of trailers having alternate footage or unused footage, but is this something new i.e. altering scenes specifically for a trailer !?

I wouldn't say it's new. Either way, four Predators in one movie is pretty damn good if you ask me. Definitely a lot to deal with. And if they all have different helmets, armor, and skin designs, this is the best Predator overload a collector or movie-goer could ever ask for!

Better then P2, AVPs, A3, AR, T3, T:S. Fun flick, great characters, some surprises. No weapons, who gave that review a few pages back? I call shenanigans, I don't believe you saw the movie.

Even Tophers character was enjoyable. A little too much "I know theyre hunting us" stuff in the beginning. Great deaths, a sold out crowd cheering and clapping helps too especially those who had it coming. Some referances to P1 but not overboard. Liked the story about Arnolds team in 87.

All in all I'm pleased. Still not feeling Mr. Black's design, tho all the colors are more muted then we've seen on figures. Did warm up to the Tusked Predator look however.

GO SEE IT. DO IT. DO IT NOW.

Don't forget to get the Inception Soundtrack!! I preordered it on iTunes yesterday for the release on the 13th.

yeah that score sounds pretty awesome.

as for the predators reviews saying it's better than the avp movies, that's damning it with faint praise. but i wouldn't expect anything else. at least many folks here seem to have enjoyed it.

anyway, watching it tonight. will report back in tomorrow...

I went to the Midnight show and really loved this one. Some annoying idiot was flashing a laser pointer at the screen during the beginning part of the movie, but they must have gotten into it because it stopped after about 15 minutes.

I think this movie is really a good step in the right direction for the Predator movie franchise. I'm definitely going to be seeing it again.
