I'm late to answer but RE: other characters:
I'm surprised. I thought that the 88's would be more popular. Of course you can't make all 88 of them, but I figured that if 3 of the ones that stood out more could be offered in an attractive package, that they'd be no brainers. Something like Neca did:
I know that neca made Bill and Pai Mei too but they were the duds of both series
I can't place why I don't have the burning itch to have figures of some of the other characters. I liked them all on film but some just don't appeal to me as a figure. I guess I see most of them like Hattori Hanzo; good character that played an important part in the flick.... but no desire for a figure.
To me, the #1 no brainer must would be Gogo above and beyond anyone else; followed by a few 88's. I can dig a Volume 2 Elle too. I have no desire whatsoever for Bill or Bud. Maybe I'm attracted to Gogo, the 88's & Elle because they have great fight scenes?
IDK. But on that same note I love the fight scene with Vernita (maybe my fave) and don't really need a fig of her either

I'd say it's quite easy to bash up any of the 88's. There are plenty of great looking head sculpts out there to add on to any body with the many black suit options we have nowadays.

I most definitely want bill. It's David freaking caradine! He has such a good performance in the movie as a filmgoer you feel conflicted about his death. A mark of a great character. Plus his accessories would be awesome; tranq gun, revolver, flute, Hanzo sword.
Gogo is a throwaway character. An anime cliche. IMO. Pai mei on the other hand may be a fung fu movie cliche, but his role is far more important to the formation of who the bride is and ultimately informs how she dispatches Elle. Whereas pai is a important secondary character gogo is tertiary at best. She's an obstacle. No more than Johnny or a pitfall in a video gem.
Again IMHO. I will gladly champion the cause for you guys if te interest is there because I love these movies and would probably want anything made from them. But I'm not a style over substance guy

Hell don't get me wrong I'd buy ANY Kill Bill figure, right down do Sophie or the monk that does not return Pie Meis nod that is only talked about in story lol.
But if it were up to me O-Ren is way the hell down on the list and Bill is right after the Bride.

I'm not a style over substance guy to large degree either. My collecting habits are mostly driven by my connection and love for the source material, and I want a 1/6 representation of all the movies that are meaningful to me. Most of the time I'd want a figure regardless of the characters visual appeal (there are exceptions), so I don't always need "the guy in the pimp suit"
lol as Wofford used to say) or the "shelf popper". I easily could get down with a ton of guys in black suits just because I love the movie/character (Resevoir Dogs, PF guys, Dusk Till Dawn.... and so on...).
Bottom line is some things give me the itch and some things don’t. I’m a completest in some lines and I can casually pick and choose certain characters for others; and sometimes there’s no real rhyme, reason or rationale that dictates my itches. Pai Mei is very visually interesting; I enjoyed his character and he could be a killer figure yet I don’t feel the need to rep him on my shelf. The movie is entirely based on hunting down and killig Bill but he’s another guy that just doesn’t scream “FIGURE” to me. Why Pai Mei and Bill don’t tickle my fancy? I have no clue

I agree, there's stuff out there that will work; but I'm not a big bash guy. Bashes can come close enough - almost there IMO. They only way to get EXACT is when something is custom made.
