No man... it makes MORE sense. The cost is identical. The products ship to non-US customers from Denny. BUT without the SSF patronage theres no incentive to keep the level of presentation and involvement up. Please take note: Im not trying to claim sole responsibility for Iminime's improvement over the last releases...(lord knows they have made leaps) but Ive had quite a bit of input on the projects since i became officially involved. Why wouldnt you want to support that?

Personally and I said this right from the start I don't really see the point of CS existence . It's a great looking site there is no doubt and your pics are light years ahead of what Iminime where offering up before with there promos. Perhaps it's cos I'm not a US collector maybe it does make sense to bring all the sets into the US at one point of entry then distribute from there. Tbh though all I can see that doing is slowing down delivery time for a day or 2 compared with if they where all sent out individually from Korea. It's likely to make life a little easier for Denny and his team having to only put one large box together for shipping but what are the other benefits?

Your pics are fantastic mate (when you put the pants on the right way round ) and there a hugely welcome edition but could Denny not just send you the protos as he does now and you snap the pics then email them across to him for use? Do we really need to split Iminime's ordering process in 2 because of this? I just think it creates a little confusion. Would also probably help if you and Denny coordinated on when exactly to send the live links out.

International orders through CS are shipped straight from Korea. You get it JUST as fast. The POINT is that I made a significant investment to partner with Iminime and obtain rights to SSF distributorship. THAT'S THE POINT. Im running a business. And if you think my contribution is just 'nice' then you haven't been paying attention. Im in these threads constantly giving customer support. Im doing my best to not only relay the customer requests and critiques but to deliver them emphatically and convincingly so they get done. The site is all run and designed by me. The marketing language and item descriptions (which hopefully are much clearer) is also written by me. Im brokering deals with sculptors and initiating projects that SSF wants (Like Trevor with Jesse). [Incidentally Denny is watching BrBa--he's already past season 3!]
I shouldnt have to explain all this to you. It should be obvious that since my integration things have smoothed out. In fact Denny's recent departure alone makes me vital. How else would things get done?


You are right regarding the coordination. It was a bit of a misstep on our part. Miscommunication. It shouldnt be difficult for customers though. In fact Cinemascale is FAR easier to navigate and order from than Iminime. There's no splitting of the process in TWO either.. at least for the customer. So your unwillingness to patron the site is unsubstantiated in any way, shape or form. :

I don't know how else to make it clearer. Is anyone else not getting this or this a widespread issue?

Well, Wake's pics make Iminime's products a lot more appealing, and if he only takes them for the purpose of making a bit of scratch through his own site where they are sold, then I can clearly see the incentive for Denny to work with him in this way. I think it's also helpful for Denny to have someone assist with translating English language feedback, as Denny seems to have had some problems interpreting the meaning of some posts. Once you've waited 6 months or so for a figure I don't think a couple extra days are going to make a big difference to most collectors. It is true that U.S. buyers usually see more of a benefit from ordering from U.S. distributors vs. the source in Asia than you do here, but this is an unconventional relationship.

It's my opinion and I am entitled to it . I'm more than happy ordering direct from Denny via Iminime.net as I always have. As the customer I have the right to chose where I order from and I've chosen. If you don't like that I'm sorry but that's not my problem. I didn't make you invest anything or make you set up your site. I'm sure after a few figures have been released and all the kinks have been worked out you'll see plenty of orders coming in through CS. Personally I'm happy with the way things are.

Also as somebody who does 90% of his net browsing on his phone I'd take a look at your mobile site if I where you. I found it slow and unresponsive.

Yes, the idea is that CS handles all of SSF orders. The percentage of SSF to total sales is not high. I would say its a small percentage of Denny's business. Maybe %15-%20 are SSF orders. Denny's asian customer base is significantly larger.

Denny and I have discussed it, SSF (THROUGH CINEMASCALE) will have a 24hour window on general sales BEFORE iminime. So you can get to it all day.

Regarding the outside orders, it also depends on the project... Breaking Bad Jesse might do really well from SSF in relation to asian markets BUT thats the exception. Kill Bill will certainly get many more orders from outside SSF.

I had no idea SSF accounted for such a small percentage of Iminime's overall output. Granted I thought there may be a small leaning toward the outside market but to hear SSF only makes up 15-20% on average of the overall orders is surprising. With that in mind I'll attempt to familiarise myself with your site.

Do you intend to arrange your own VIP status? I know you are currently honouring (as you should) Iminime's current policy but in the future do you intend to arrange something exclusively for CS? The reason I ask is I didn't go for Iminime's VIP membership out of principal, call me stubborn or foolhardy if you will but I truly believe VIP should be earned through continued patronage not bought for $300 during a window of opportunity. Would CS be looking to offer a similar deal to say Rainman in the future?

Perhaps yes. I can see that being a real possibility. A VIP pre-sale to those loyal customers is a good idea. Additionally CS will now have a window BEFORE iminime goes up for sale to incentivize members.

Regarding production runs. Im not sure what the edition size for this will be. My allotment is limited of course, but Ive been assured by Denny that even if i go over by 2 or 3 my orders will be met. So even more incentive hopefully for SSF patronage and participation!
